Biography
K-Sparks (MusicMan Sparks) is a music producer, song-writer, singer, saxophonist, and performer. Born in New Bern, North Carolina and raised in Twinsburg, Ohio, he was exposed to a variety of music across many genres. He started playing Alto sax in 5th grade band  and was involved in bands including  concert, jazz, prep, honor and marching band. This allowed his passion for music to flourish.

As he continued in his career, he began writing and producing music.While attending The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, he continued to be involved in music through Gospel choirs, concert bands, and music production, which lead to him receiving a minor in music. 

He then moved to Chicago, Illinois where he was part of an R&b trio called Mi-Tyme.  During his time in the group, he produced ,wrote, and performed alongside the other members. He also spent time prepping for the launch of his music production company, MusicMan Sparks Productions. When the group disbanded, he relocated to Los Angeles, California.

As an artist, he creates all components of his music. He mentions Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds as one of his major influences.  

“ I have an appreciation for all genres  of music including R&b, Gospel, Classical, Jazz, and Pop. My goal is to not only create music for myself, but to write and produce for other artists.  I love collaborating and vibing with artists, writers and musicians. We all have our own, unique gift to share and our own story tell.  I feel that quality music that people can relate to is able to transcend time. Music is said to be a universal language and through music I give myself to you. It is my heart, my soul , my deepest passion. I cannot imagine my life without it."

His solo debut single "Rhythm of Love" is a song that he wrote, produced and performed It is a smooth R&b, jazz infused, mid- tempo groove with falsetto, congas, finger bass and sax.
