Very cool ambient (?) track - well executed and I never expected the banjo coming in at the end!!! Some very pleasant layering of instruments.

Dealing with a lot of emotional volatility which normally requires attention but all the sickness and death is a distraction. Varying scope of context ranging from the general state of things, the effects of the pandemic and situations closer and closer to home. Until face to face with such a loss, there is no other way of knowing. And then try dealing with drowning in yourself. It's a whirlwind. A private hell with a new kind of devil.

Lament Op. 666 convey loss and grief. including waves of uncontrollable emotional distress, moments of contemplation, depression, numbness, anger, resignation. And then, after excruciation, the realization of death, as if death occurred after the emotional impact of it. Time becomes an illusion.

The banjo plays as death whistles us closer. The heart, and life, wind down until the devils wins. The devil always wins.

A NOTE ABOUT LOUDNESS

You might notice that our productions are quieter than a lot of other artists’ tracks on Soundcloud. Our productions are generally set with the peaks of the audio at their highest possible level.
