Ampers& : Two halves make a whole; Sam Halshall and Camboché.

Ahead of the mix's release Sam tells us about the Duo. They started working together in the summer of 2013. Both of them have a wealth of experience in production and DJing, especially Camboché who has had releases on labels such as Under The Shade, Waze & Odyessy and Tusk Wax. Sam initially started Djing at age 15 playing Hip-Hip. His ear soon turned to electronic music after hearing tracks from Roni Size. These days he tells us he collects music from all genres, even some freaky Cuban voodoo tracks!

Sam has been playing for a while, he previously hosted a radio show on SUB.FM with a friend that has gone on to more grime influenced music. Coming soon we can expect releases from Ampers&, the first on ‘Abstract Culture’ which features two tracks from the guys - Gallium and Miramar. Also with remixes from Jack Dixon and Innershades. Secondly Ampers& will be releasing on ‘Godzilla Kebab’ which has already had support from Laurent Garnier and The Revenge. Sam says: “Big up to Lloyds Miles and DJ Sames”.

A.Aloy

From Kachi, India to the City of London.

Aloy has prepared an hour long mix of progressive House and Techno for us all to nod our heads and tap our feet to. When Aloy isn't in the laboratory furthering biomedical science, he can be found behind the decks. He tells us he’s performed a few gigs back in India with a band  “The Good The Bad and The Ugly”. Other than that, Aloy has DJ’d at the esteemed Fuga Bar in Bangalore, India.

At present Aloy is not producing, but you’ll be able to catch him at our upcoming STM at Ministry of Sound events.

We look forward to connecting with more DJs and musicians from other far out places!

We find it very exciting to be able to discover and share the various styles of Electronic Dance Music.
