Fragment of tape found in an abandoned E. Berlin recording studio

This is a very unfair audio test. 
On one side, a Nagra 4.2 mono tape recorder, a beautiful piece of Swiss precision engineering from 1972, with properly aligned and maintained heads. 
On the other, a *handheld* mono cassette tape head on a wire running into a Music Thing Modular Magnetophon module - a NAB equalised preamp for tape heads. 
The source material is a tape loop recorded on the Nagra - me counting. 
The first two loops are the Nagra output (going directly into the Unify output mixer on my modular).
The second two loops are the handheld tape head - after a bit of fiddling to find a good position. 
Then you get the two mixed together, for more fun.
