Stockholm born Robine has made her move from Barcelona to Berlin, to set foot in the local scene and find professional team players for mutual support. Robine adds even more passion for music into the mix, as well as research wizardry, coder knowledge and such like. The „Berlin Balling“ mixtape is the tip off to a series of “Robosonic & Robine“ material. Scoreboard checks are showing that when it comes to club music flavours, their respective tastes are both winning. When performing, these two can work the field together like the most valuable players – selecting & mixing music is one thing, playing some back-2-back DJ gigs in the heat of the moment is another. In the following rounds you might watch them go into production, tutorials or interviews. They’ll share some insights of their offensive game plan to make a record of their own. R2R moves. Hey music fans. This weekend we want to share with you Pathik, DJ  from Mumbai, India 🇮🇳, mix. He first started listening to electronic music from the beginning of the 90s. Artists like Darude, Robert Miles, ATB, Faithless, Todd Terry, Arman van helden, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Chicane, Tiesto and others played a big role to inspire me to become a DJ.
It took him a decent time to learn DJ'ing, because at first he was completing his academics and after graduation was busy building a professional career. After he got down to business (he have own business of production of men's clothing) DJ was just a hobby but slowly it became a passion and he realized that he had to master this art .
After long working days, in the evenings he studied DJ courses. Since then it was all self-learning and mastering the basics of DJ'ing. After that there was no stopping. He currently have a weekly podcast show known as Patrified Radio on soundcloud and at the same time start been learning music production as well.

Hey music fans!! This wekend we have a son of two musicians, Felix, who came into contact with music very early in his childhood and learned to play drums and many different percussion instruments in over 13 years of practice. His enthusiasm for electronic music began later in his youth and not least through his still ongoing friendship with Michael Ritter, whom he has known since his school days. In 2018 the two decided to become independent in the music scene and founded the label Grey Bar Hotel. In his own productions, Felix increasingly incorporates various percussive and organic elements and varies with various analog synthesizers, creating deep and experimental soundscapes.

This week we welcome Italian duo Synästhesie to the show.

Bio:

Synästhesie is the german translation for synesthesia, a disorder that assigns a different perception to a sensory stimulation.

This is the concept behind the music project created by Emiliano Di Clemente and Simone Mancin: two minds that perceive different sensations and merge to create a unique vision. In 2014 in Torino (IT), they have their first encounter and begin to collaborate, thanks to the shared love for various music genres such as progressive house, new wave, electronica and techno. 

Their tracks has been supported by Tale Of Us, Øostil, SOEL and other artists. Their sets stand out for the use of melody and the great variety of sound and genres that characterizes the whole project.

Depth Perception Sessions #12 - Synästhesie

Zoi (CA) was born in Karachi, Pakistan and helped cultivate his local electronic music scene by creating safe spaces for Pakistani revellers to experience techno and house music. He eventually moved to Toronto, Canada, where he pursued technical training in sound while developing a knack for music production.

As a producer, Zoi focuses on creating complex soundscapes and deep melodies; all characterized by ethereal twilight overtones. Equal parts musician, and equal parts sound engineer, Zoi endeavours to capture ethereal and moody sounds that aim to embody the complexities of human experience.
His releases can be found on well known labels like Kindisch, Traum Schallplatten, Nie Weider Schlafen, Dream Culture and Magician On Duty. His recent “Prisms EP” on Kindisch reached #1 in Organic House releases and #9 across all genres on Beatport.

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter. 

In her late teen, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Funky House, Jackin, Electronica, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno, Hard Techno, Tech House and Atmospheric DnB ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds ;)

Since February 2015, Julie host her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ here in Canada. I personally have been a huge fan of my Canadian sister.
