As one half of the Mariner + Domingo duo, American artist Chris Domingo has compiled an impressive resume over the last 20 years. Upon making his debut on Balkan Connection in July of 2020, the Florida resident went on a remarkable run, landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton Music, RYNTH, and The Purr. Perhaps his most comfortable landing spot was Madloch’s long-standing Sound Avenue imprint, where Mariner + Domingo released ten originals across ten months, none more impactful than ‘Another Life’ and ‘Inertia’, which earned play and support from Lee Burridge and Sebastien Leger respectively. Now embarking on his future musical endeavors in solo capacity, Domingo + returns to Sound Avenue with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Hardway’.

BIO
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Perry Domingo first surfaced in Orlando in the mid 90s, under the names "Loveclub," "Cdee & Dove," "Freespirit" and "Domingo Brothers," producing Progressive House and Breaks. Co-founded DB Records, Breaks Collective Records, Pendulum Records, and D:Vision Records. He has appeared on such labels as Blackhole, Platipus, Limbo, and 405 . In 2004, he faded away from the scene for a while to raise a family and worked for a while as an audio engineering instructor, teaching Pro-Tools, Logic, and Postproduction at Full Sail University in Florida. 20+ years later, he has dusted off the gear and is getting his feet wet again, working with his brother full circle, and has some joints coming out on 3rd Avenue, Songuara, Soundteller, Suprematic Sounds, Massive Harmony, and Laika Sounds,Nordic

I want to introduce you to this talent and pro DJ, who turns his sessions into beautiful works of art, with very good vibes, and where he always tells us a beautiful story. I must thank him for having done this beautiful and special session, always with a great, exclusive and exquisite selection.

Selector of the deepest cuts of melodic music - emotive and always soul touching" That’s how MBryan describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of funk music, European electronica and synth-infused 80s music, all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and video game music. MBryan ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best, beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks. All on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling melodic house beat. A very active member of his local community, MBryan is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
