Last Night (Home Studio Version)

This track titled "Twerk it" was made last summer when i was really into making dance records, you know music girls could twerk to. Although I never put it online for my follows i had a blast making songs like this. I made a CD full of dance record with my home boy Milzoe for people to enjoy listening to it in their cars in my town, passing it out that way let me see how people reacted to the music and also allowed quicker feed back then online which made for great conversation. Musie Seattle-based recording artist who practices life with a contagious passion, surrounding himself with a group of longtime friends and serving as a leader to the youth he coaches in private sessions and team sports. His playful disposition and earnest positivity reverberates throughout his music, influencing his diverse range of sounds and uplifting lyrics. 

Watching Michael Jackson’s videos as a child served as the initial catalyst for Musie to start creating. Observing how the King of Pop’s entertainment style and choreography brought audiences into the story behind each song inspired Musie to create with the ultimate goal of connecting with listeners and making them feel as if they are in the same room. Each song he writes is intended to tell a personal story that resonates with others, allowing them to feel connected with their own emotions and with the artist as they are being given access into moments in his life. Later, Musie was introduced to inspirators such as Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, and Andre 300, and found he identified with the art of mixing rapping with singing. Musie’s music illustrates these varied influences and can be classified as new age hip hop and melodic rap, including both party mixes and more poetic tracks.

The October 2016 release of his first mixtape entitled ‘Blue Heron Estates’ showcases a compilation of his work over the past couple years. From colorful, conscious music, like ‘New Shit’ to laid-back, bright tunes like ‘Jeray,’ his multidimensional songwriting and vocal skills are a breath of fresh air for hip hop fans.
