Rainer Maria Silke aka Berk Offset is in many respects a kind of brain surgeon and at the same time literature researcher. The practice lies directly under a high-voltage line. His laboratory, which is registered under Wakkler draws from the mainline as well. Here he regularly invites like-minded high-voltage scientists that likewise are excited for experimentation. With the colleagues from Snork Enterprises he sometimes presents as a guest lecturer.
His base in scenic Jena is Musikkrause. Still this isn't the place where he kicks up his feet and the telly is mostly used in a rather disassembled form merely to have a look at what is actually going on inside; that is, how he can manage the electric driving in beats and transform them into off-set styled charges.

For his second Musikkrause he has apparently installed a few cables in the Thuringian Forest to among other things come up with those rare feverish glandular whistlers.
This active compulsion (of course with the proper official forestry license) has resulted in a collection of 4 electrical hunting trophies and therewith proven the Riemann hypothesis: the forest is sound.

The least populous forest inhabitants, a cross between owl and deer, who especially in the night seek the closeness to people. Especially in the foggy, lightening-infused and wide open spaces of the hopper sound, he at his most comfortable.

The obskure Obstkur (the obscure fruit treatment)
With so much 	perseverance sitting in high seats and telescopic viewing, he naturally needs some kind of culinary relaxation. Of course, nothing tops the fresh plate of fruit. From a selection of 60% highly distilled fruit essences, there comes the mid day snack.

This small friendly monster, lurks through the needle woods digs himself like a mole under forest ant mounds where he chooses to chill out and feast. He emerges stuffed from the subterranean world and steps with his claws rhythmically, with his mandibles chewing on everything.

In wonderful Thüringia (Berlach /Gotha)  a group of culture enthusiasts under the radar of the standard PR circus, every year run a festival way out in the sticks for 3 days. This is the “Cucuma” festival. Here there is enjoyment of art and culture in a kind of Utopia island. Embedded in scenic nature with a love of detail, an open audience and artists who swing together in a way that you don't see everywhere. 

Metaboman, one half of the Krause Duo, is jamming since forever at this place. Found at times with the booked musicians  (either DJ Kajak, with partner Krause, or as live act) and artistic chums.
All four tracks are based on Metaboman's live sound; a shadow-dance theater performance which he performed at the 2014 festival.

In the EP “Cucmagic” there lives the spirit of this prime piece of earth under swaying poplars. A homage to a status of deep sensitivity & happiness. When the final heap of sonics is rendered still, the next summer, which one can hardly wait on is already being longed for. If you have already experienced the DNA from Metaboman's brand of sonic gymnastics, then you are already with him. For a long time his music has been aimed at the offloading your rear-end, as opposed to stretched out arms and hands. As well, here is a deeply compelling groove with a jazzy vibe and smoke blasts that sometimes more, sometimes less alternate the sunshine with shimmering.

oh was für ein krass rolliger warmfrickliger supersound. robag wruhmes kopfnikken ist richtiges kopfnikken, richtiges kopfnikken ist gleichzeitig bein bewegen und hören und,.,.,.,.,.,.,. der erste track frandga ist der einroller schlechthin. wighnomy brothers’ sängerin delhia spricht-singt und das dann auch noch alles gleichzeitig in einer zurückgelehnten art und weise über einen von deepnes nur so strotzendem dancefloor beat. das ding könnte jetzt von mir aus noch ewig laufen stil, während sich die platte mit frandga einrollt sitzt der zweite track wortkabular schon in den startlöchern, um mit beat und ambientartigem geflächt zu laufen zu laufen zu laufen, um dann noch in einem beat beat über alles inklusive vocal macht noch mehr groove in wärme zu explodieren. track 3 beatkutter is dann noch mehr für den dancefloor, genauer ganz dolle für den dancefloor, dass soll nicht heißen ie anderen nicht. doch bei dem ding springt sogar der busfahrer auf, wenn er meine ultra nach außen gar nicht abgeschirmten walkmankopfhörer höhrt, und fängt an zu tanzen. der beat geht nur nach vorn, bassline ist treibend, breaks sind so strikt zackig gesetzt. wow, dance dance dance alles immer in um an mit wortfetzen logisch schön zerhackt. für mk fans bombe. na was sag ich, der rest natürlich auch. lied kopfnikker, ja das kennt man ja...! der letzte track encounters ist ein wenig langsamer, die wortsamples haben den beat immer am kragen, will heißen, sie gehen jede bewegung mit. sehr heiß gemachte flächen machen das ding dann schön rund.

the first track frandga is a warm-roller by definition. wighnomy brothers' singer delhia talks sings and
all of this both at a time in a relaxed way on a dancefloor beat that is more than full of deepness in
a this-thing-could-spin-that-way-for-hours style. while the vinyl rolls warm with frandga, the second
track "wortkabular" is more than ready to roll roll roll on an ambient-like netting of beats to explode
in warmth over another beat beat including vocals. track three "beatkutter" is great on the dancefloor.
best on the dancefloor, to be precise. that doesn't mean the other tracks are not for the dancfloor,
but with this track in my ultra-open headphones, even the busdriver jumps up and starts dancing. the
beat is straight forward, the bassline is driving and the breaks are strict and snappy. wow dance dance
dance. all in around about with word-snippets, nicely cutted of course. a bomb for mk fans. what can
i say, the rest of it too. track four "kopfnikker" - well, everybody knows this. the last track "encounters"
is slower, the word samples won't get rid of the beat, or, to put it in another way, they move with beat.
made really hot. pads are the cherries on the cake.

Musik Krause, das Label mit dem besonderen Funk und Weitblick veröffentlicht das vierte Album in seiner zehnjährigen Geschichte. Der Kreis schließt sich. Denn 2002 startete man mit Metaboman. Jetzt liegt sein Album vor. 
Als Teil des auflegenden Krause Duos erlebt er sämtliche Eskapaden der Feierkultur. Schöpferisch gehen sie dabei keineswegs den geraden Weg. Sie haben eine ganz eigene Metaphorik entwickelt, eben Krauzy Schrouse And Trashno. 
Auch wenn auf dieser Langspielplatte ordentlich mit angezogener und gelöster Handbremse geschroust wird, der beliebt berüchtigte Krause-Vibe in jedem Taktschlag mitswingt, schmiedet hier Metaboman Solo die Eisen. Er möchte weitergehen, sich treiben lassen und vor allem als Liveprojekt mit lieb gewonnenen Musikern die Bühnen bassmassieren. Krause Duo bleibt Krause Duo.

Musik Krause, the label with that special funk and the wide view releases the fourth album in their 10-year history. The circle is complete. In 2002 they started with Metaboman. Now there is the album.
As a part of the record-spinning Krause Duo he's known a number of escapades having to do with the 'bash' or rather party culture. Inventively they go about things on a winding path. The have a developed a completely singular metaphoric like a Krauzy schroud and trashno effect.
Even if on this long player there is a good deal of gravitation and disengaged handbrake, the beloved notorious krause-vibe swings in every beat, as Metaboman forges the iron. He wants to go further and let himself be taken away, and above all with the musicians he has won over with his live-project to massage the masses from the stage. Krause Duo remains.

Started as a FAT sister label, with an eccentric bent and experimentally “too intellectual” with its heads out the window. Above all, a raw cut and clever yet boozy funk understanding from Metaboman the platform was, always MK, but a shared stylistic closeness through Robag Wruhme. In the present as an emancipated partner alongside FAT on the same level. Here comes about the stuff which is a bit club dweller-ish outsider (!): functional, experiment, melodic lone purloiner, slicked up snarky paired with a jazzy panorama and frivolic understanding of song hand in hand. As special tid-bits come to light next to Metaboman along with Krause Duo and Robag Wruhme and other sonic artists like Ian Simmonds, Schleck und Stecker, Portable, Someone Else on Musikkrause the shine of the speaker boxes.
   
With a wide awake view to the future, the right mélange of tradition, down-to-earth instincts and the adventurist appetite bend the parameters in the direction of…wrong-headed sympathetic humanity in a paradise of electronic music brought to tears, scrumptious, freak-out and fleshly depth. There is also the exception without the cemented delusions of grandeur…how does the German sitcom main character Stromberg put it: “If you allow the butter to be taken from the bread, then eventually you won’t even have the bread!”
