Duckett is back with his show and says: It seems fitting to have Grimes as my first guest on Outsiders. Everything is his fault, but he says it's all my fault. We started making music together 25 years ago, its been all downhill from then. It's because of Grimes that I consider broken and fucked music normal. He made me feel OK about playing music backwards at quarter speed after a week without sleep. He let me live in his shed, and let me use his four track. I remember Grimes sat in the corner, just observing me as I lost my fucking mind into a microphone. It was real shit. And it still is. Grimes nods to those days this mix, inspired by the inspired, wandering from the well trodden path into various corners of obscurity and back. Grimes has highlighted the story of Syrian producer Obay Alsharani as a kind of abstract sentiment whilst talking about his guest mix. It's worth reading Obay's story. It's worth listening to Grimes mix!! Starts at 25 mins and as hour long. You've got my bonkers shiz for 30 mins each side. Enjoy!!!!

Priori is an alias of Montreal-based Quebecois musician Francis Latreille. After putting put out solo releases on Greek label Echovolt and Canadian imprints Dust World and ASL Singles Club, he wrote a thematic full length called ‘On A Nimbus’ for his own label NAFF (which he runs with Ex-Terrestrial). Known to be an avid collaborator, Latreille is involved in a number of projects including Jump Source, M.S.L., Housemates, New World Science and and Ntel. His knack for textural sounds and his singular production approach have led him work on mixing numerous projects by fellow artists (Ex-terrestrial, RAMZi, Escape Artist, D.Tiffany). Whether live or as a DJ, Priori brings a uniquely hypnotic sound that sustains a dancefloor while creating an atmosphere informed by the worlds of science fiction and fantasy that are so dear to him.
