Bernardo Bar rera, DJ and multi instrumentalist  
producer  fromGuadalajara, Mexico, half of Los Fugazzi
project, represents the new generation of Mexican producers who are building the new sound of electronic music in the country.

His style is a mix of electronics with rock, disco, electro, ebm and post-punk dyes. He’s part of the exclusive record labels Her Majesty’s Ship, Ombra INTL, Relish and Mange_Moi. He is also currently resident DJ of the exclusive Kin Kin Club in Guadalajara.

His music is supported and has been played by artists such as Andrew Weatherhall, Perel, Curses, Chloé, Daniele Baldelli, Andrew Claristidge, Damon Jee, Justin Robertson. With increasingly solid releases, it is undoubtedly one of the names that will be leading the future of the Mexican music 3 industry in the world.

Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history as well as Justin Strauss.

He's been spinning since he was 17 and has visited the booth of nearly every dance club in New York and around the world, pioneering his own distinctive sound, and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers and producers. He has worked with artists such as Depeche Mode, Hot Chip, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner, Jimmy Cliff, B-52s, Luther Vandross, 808 State, Malcolm McClaren, Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp, LCD Soundsystem to name a few and on over 200 records.

As half of the production duos, Whatever/Whatever and A/JUS/TED, he continued to produce and mix records, working on remixes for the likes of Hot Chip, William Onyeabor, LCD Soundsystem, Blood Orange, Holy Ghost!, Franz Ferdinand, Beyonce and working on new projects like 'Extra Credit' with Joe Goddard of Hot Chip & Marcus Marr, and with Max Pask under their Each Other moniker, whose debut E.P. was mixed by Soulwax and released this year on their Deewee label.

We land in the Spanish capital again to welcome one of the main figures of the national scene on board, @alvarocabana, founder of https://soundcloud.com/rotten-city-records. An artist who has devoted most of his life to electronic music and made a name for himself already in the early 90s, not only as an exquisite DJ but also as a praiseworthy promoter who was responsible for multiple successful projects such as Coppelia, Rubble, the early years of Mondo, or Wonky among others. A tireless creator who brings a delicate podcast full of dark atmospheres and shifting melodies daintily floating around electro subgenres, perfectly in line with the identity of his own label . NIR Chapter #11 TENIENTE CASTILLO

Listening to Teniente Castillo's mixes, you can imagine his sultry, driving sonics soundtracking the action on Miami Vice; the inspiration behind the Madrid-based producer and DJ's name.

On home turf he's been an advocate for pushing these psychedelic, slow burning sounds, be it through his own output, his DJ sets, sporadic parties or, most prominently, through his Play Pal Music imprint.

For over a decade he's been steering the label through dark and deep waters, which has become a home for artists synonymous with this vibe and style; the likes of Mufti, Vox Low and Curses, to name a few.

It's been a home for several of his own tracks and remixes too, whilst beyond Play Pal he's delivered music on labels with a similar ethos and output to his own, including Ombra Intl, Relish, Roam, Tici Taci, Playground Rec and Sinchi Collective.

He's selective with the mixes he puts together, beyond those shared through his own platforms, so we're honoured to have him contribute to our series with an hour of the heady sounds that he's become known for.

Tronik Youth has remixed over 75 records over the last ten years and released over a dozen singles....starting off in 2006 with a remix for then unknown band The Gossip, he has worked for a variety of labels ending in 2012 with the creation of Nein Records with business partner/Friend Ian Considine, they have released tracks for The Decibels, Julian Sanza/Future Feelings and his own original tracks and an acclaimed edits series CTRL-S of which five editions will be released in 2014.
He has dj'ed all over the world, including South America, Usa and most of Europe.

Musique d’Apéritif est un collectif de DJs et Créatifs basé à Biarritz et aussi un jeune label indépendant. Programmation musicale, tremplin pour talents émergents et accompagnement d’artistes.

C’est quand la farce dure plus de 8 ans. La grande blague. Une version transatlantique teuf-orientée d'une campagne présidentielle qui dérape et proclame la bouffonnerie au siège d'un pays. Qui nous aurait cru. Pas nous-même, sans ambition, si ce n’était celle de faire la fête et de la faire à notre façon. Tant qu’on était ensemble, à peu près tous sur la même longueur d’onde pour se faire confiance et aller jusqu’au bout des choses. C’était il y a 8 ans.
On fait le compte, encore aujourd’hui, même si ça ne rime plus à rien. 
Au pire, ça nous confirme qu’on est un poil chaud et qu’on tient bon : 300 événements de montés, 300 live bands conviés et 50 djs d’invités en local.

L’histoire de ce collectif, c’est la force d’implication sur le long terme avec le plus de monde possible pour porter et partager les fruits d'une passion commune.
La musique est à l’antithèse d'un truc égoïste. 

Sans jamais croire que le mélange des genres, des goûts et des formats puissent s’annuler entre eux, notre collectif n’est rien sans sa spontanéité, rien sans les gens qui dansent, rien sans les lieux qui nous soutiennent et qu’on soutient à notre tour, rien sans ceux qui se tournent vers nous pour imaginer des rendez-vous à créer. Tout s’organise. Quel rapport entre un DJ set hip-hop pour un mariage américain, un festival de psyché, une guinguette mensuelle du dimanche, des partenariats avec des acteurs publics reconnus, des productions d’artistes dont on tombe amoureux ? Aucun, si ce n’est de le faire et de toujours repousser la limite du possible, à notre échelle, à notre tempo, pourvu qu’il trouve le vôtre.

Voilà notre philosophie. Nous sommes le collectif Musique d’apéritif, DJs, créatifs et label indépendant depuis 2013.
