Music is magic to me. It gives me freedom to be and do anything I want. There are no limits to what can be created. Music is more than the theory we use to define it. The Structure of music is completely magical but we do our best to make it a science. Science is lawful and restricting. Magic is lawless, rebelious, and always curious. We tend to give ourself so many rules for how we can express ourselves,  and they stop us from experiencing music at its best. 
I believe that music is the greatest expressions of our souls and it breaks all barriers. No matter what language a groovy beat and a bouncing 808 transcends and translates every feeling and aspect of our reality. Love, HeartBreak, Self Confidence, Hope, Happiness, Sex, Fun, Introspection, Success, Failure etc. the Human experience everyone who has breathed air, music is the universal and boundless communication of our conscious soul. 
As a Musician and an Artist I feel the responsibility to be a good Harold and speak life into everyone that hears and sees my Art. I’ve been through a lot and I’ve watched the ones I love go through so much. So many life experiences to pull from so that I can be an encouragement to myself and others. Life is not so black and white there are  a lot of colors in between and all must be accounted for. We all are born and grow up to learn and use different colors to interpret reality, even if there’s a general reality everyone has their own unique experience and perception. 
Music allows us to connect them and find common ground. At the end of the day we are all called to grow and be the best version of ourselves before life leaves our body, and we all succeed in some minor or major ways. We overcome our circumstances and initiations into reality no matter how brutal and traumatic. We are all flawed because of sin but very beautiful because we were created in a perfect God's image. I am A Son of God. 
He created the world and everything in it in 6 days. His imagination ran wild and the power of just his words brought things into being. We are not only made in God's physical image, but his emotional, spiritual and mental image. He inspires us all in different ways and we have the same power to create. How we use it is our responsibility.

This Song is so special. 

When Ginessa and I started dating one of the first conversations we had was about how good our kids would be at singing. 

When I first made the beat we were all sitting eating breakfast and the beat was just so fun and happy. I started freestyling “ Rock & Move “ and we ended up just having a family jam session freestyling over the beat. 

It was such a magical experience. 
Our oldest son AZIAH was 4 when we recorded this. 
And he was so shy recording but he did such a great job wouldn’t you agree? 😭❤️😩

This song has been at least 3 different songs. 

At the time I was just starting to realize how good I was. I had so many doubts about what I could accomplish and make of myself. 
For the longest time I only focused on singing, so I thought that was my only gift. And the process of learning that I had a gift for production, writing and song creation was very fun and scary at the same time. So I needed to encourage myself and other people who might be feeling the same thing to keep pushing and quit for nothing or no one.

My sister Charhayah helped me write this, so it is literally my favorite song

This song was an opportunity to test my limits with pop music and test my range. 

I wanted to make something with an old school feel but a new approach to vocal arrangement.
