The Game Awards opening ("Saintangel")

Morgan’s composition, ‘Memory Lane’ is composed for a scene from a short film called ‘5 Things You Need To Know About Dying’. This short film follows two reporters on their quest to interview hundreds of dying people about their experience and what are the ‘5 things’ one needs to know about dying. The dark comedy takes an unexpected twist when the reporters realise the mundanity of their own lives and decide to quit their job and start living. 

The scene in which Morgan’s music accompanies, has a sentimental feeling. It shows Phillip, the main character, looking through a photo album and upon finally reaching the last page discovers a ribbon from his former girlfriend/spouse. What happened to her? That’s to be interpreted.

Pink Kong Studios presents "AURORA", Ireland 1st original animated Virtual Reality Film. Nominated for 'VR Film of the Year' at the VR Awards 2018.

"AURORA" was premiered at Immersive Stories as part of the Audi Dublin International film Festival on February 24th 2018.

Created by Aoífe Doyle, Niamh Herrity & Denis James Ryan with music by Rod Morris and produced at Pink Kong Studios, the story is one of peaceful reflection. 

With mesmerizing imagery and an emotive storyline “AURORA” offers a captivating experience for the viewer and invites us to reflect on the nature of time itself.

A playlist of my favourite cues from the Documentary 'Cumar - A Galway Rhapsody'. 

Through the eyes of six Galway artists this is an art film exploring the confluences which have shaped Galway and Connemara’s unique cultural fabric.
Featured artists include writer Mike McCormack, poet Rita Ann Higgins, singer Róisín Seoighe, street theatre director Noeline Kavanagh, visual artist Pádraic Reaney and musician Máirtín O’Connor. Yesterday we said our final farewells to Andrew, with beautiful and moving eulogies from Bobby G and Ian, Andrew's brother, as well as a couple of other lovely tributes from colleagues from the book world and Carcassone. A fitting send off for a friend of our who's wit, wisdom and friendship I will miss for the rest of my life. As I know we all will. We laughed and we cried and it was a fitting send off to a truly special man and friend.. Sending deepest condolonces to his lovely partner Lizzie, and Ian and Bob his brother and Dad and of course his musical compadre and special friend Nina. Love you matey and it hurts...Cant believe we will never see you again, but in the words of The Scream "your light shines on"

'Courage' in F Major, is a piece of music I wrote when the whole world went on lockdown. It's to pay homage to the people that braved the conditions daily to help others, and a celebration of the human spirit!
