Since his first EP debuted in 2010, Ross Evans has been building a steady catalogue of solid releases on labels such as Get Physical, Saved Records, Cocoon Recordings, and Cécille Records, just to name a few.  Having already attained widespread respect from DJs around the world in just a few short years, Ross has managed to firmly establish his name within the community of electronic dance music.
His newest EP on Mobilee’s little sister Leena Music is another intriguing chapter in Ross Evans’ story.  True to his signature style with roots in House while adding a Techno flair, melodic undertones, and just enough funk to keep it all tightly woven together, Ross Evans has delivered another solid release.

The title track “Caliente” starts the magnificent journey; its pounding kick drum is sure to make any club roar with excitement and energy but never loses its feel-good House music vibe.  Next on our journey, we reach a more melodic detour with “Part Of The Dream,” a little softer than the title track it takes us to an imaginary dream land with melancholic synth lines and soft whispers that lead us to  “Walk Of Shame” another melodic trip but this time less dreamy and more driving with a funky bassline that adds just enough attitude to keep us moving. After taking us this far on our adventure, our final stop is, “Asylum,” a safe haven where you can feel warm and secure. A place where we can decompress from our recent adventure through a land of excitement and diversity.

Hot Summer Jams is the latest compilation to land on Hot Creations, due out in September. 
Now in its fourth year, the popular UK label has made its name putting out sun-kissed club music. Following 2012's Paradise Summer Sampler, this 14-track release will showcase a breadth of new and established talent affiliated with the imprint. Label boss Jamie Jones has also contributed, pitching in with cosmic dance floor cut "People From The Moon." The unmixed compilation will be available on CD, digitally and on two 12-inch samplers.

Chicola - Convince Your Mirror (Ron Flatter Remix)

Anthony Yarranton and his "Soul Tax" EP provided a showcase of the UK producer's burgeoning talent in September 2014. Three tracks with a head nod towards the deeper end of the underground house spectrum combined with two delicate and elegant sounding downtempo pieces, the EP now receives remix treatments courtesy of a fellow countryman and a Dutch master as "Soul Tax, Pt. 2" now comes to the fore. 

Scott Andrews has matured into one of the UK's most respected underground house producers in recent times. A talent that has grown as the music industry has changed, his Scotty.A production moniker has continued to blossom as tastes have shifted in the wider context of dance music. A competition winner through is remix of Denis A's "Heroin", Scotty's "passion for music and complete dedication to his craft" have meant that his work is always much anticipated by fans and peers alike. Well over a century of production credits tell their own story allied to such imprints as Tulipa, ARVA and Axon, supplemented by DJ appearances across Europe and beyond, including a turn at John Digweed's Bedrock and Sasha's Last Night On Earth nights in London. Moreover, Scotty.A's relationship with Proton Music has borne a wealth of fruit in both a number of original EPs and a clutch of outstanding remixes. 

Taking on Anthony Yarranton, Scotty.A's remix of "Marrakech" is typical of the mature sound so prevalent in his recent work. Cleverly reworking the original, a sublime groove rolls in effortless fashion, evolving gently accompanied by rhythmic stabs that drift joyously atop, filling the stereo spectrum with delicious reverb. This is high-calibre work. 

Oscar van der Knapp has been a modern marvel under his Exoplanet pseudonym. A rare capacity for portraying a range of different sounds, Oscar's gift of synaesthesia affords him the ability to "view geometrical objects with a tactile texture." Influenced by philosophy, science and literature, the Exoplanet sound is a joy to behold. Long-term friend of both the Proton Music and Particles imprint, the Exoplanet name has been attached to almost a century of production credits for the latter. An astute producer whose original work leaves listeners in awe of his impressive production talent, the recent "Arboreal Kingdom" is testament to that skill set. Moreover, 2011's full-length album, "Nothing Divides Us Here" was a Proton Music highlight, followed, in the same year, by the quartet of track that made up the techno inspired "Delta" EP. Returning to the label for the first time since 2011, the Exoplanet remix of "Happens To Be" is another masterpiece full of the musical sensibilities that adorn the Dutchman's work. 

A beautifully smooth piece, Exoplanet takes Yarranton's original and works it into a compelling underground piece, full of melodic assurance and the complex rhythmic interplay that is a hallmark of his craft. As the track develops free form melodies swirl and scud across the higher frequency spectrum weaving a magical spell. With two new remixes from Scotty.A and Exoplanet, Anthony Yarranton's "Soul Tax" has a good deal of revenue left to collect.

This two part EP from Headless Ghost, as he continues to release on Tamed Musiq, is made up of 2 remixes of original Headless Ghost tracks 'The Journey' and 'Never-ending story' originally released on STHLM audio back in 2009.

The first remix comes courtesy of Gerd under his NY Stomp Alias. The track is a club ready homage to Ripperton’s The Journey. It is an infectious shaking up of the original that bubbles with energy.

Rising Detroit star North Lake takes control of the B side with a remix of Ripperton’s ‘Neverending Story’. This track grows in momentum throughout the seven minutes. North Lake is building on the original track, adding more layers and complexity. With the introduction of melodic piano chords the track is an uplifting remix of a smooth and accomplished tune.

Both remixes are subtle re-interpretations of Headless Ghost tracks, this subtlety is testimony to the quality of the originals.

The 37th release on microCastle finds the label revisiting King Unique's Beatport #1 release 'Some Break The Shell'. The four track EP released in April of 2014 found the storied UK producer showcasing some of the most diverse and poignant work of this career. Now to kick off 2015 we see four brand new interpretations courtesy of Dubspeeka, Jamie Stevens, Pedram and Petrels.

The lone interpretation of 'Some Break' is provided by microCastle label artist Jamie Stevens. The Aussie producer is now making his fourth appearance on the label and first of 2015. Jamie has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his career. As one of Australia's most talented and sought after music producers he has proven his skill in professional sound design, music scores for film and contemporary dance music. As the founding member of Infusion, the much-loved Australian electronic live act, he's left his mark around the globe, headlining some of the biggest and most respected clubs including; Fabric- London, Pacha - Buenos Aires, Womb- Tokyo and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Creamfields in Moscow, Brazil, UK and Argentina. In his home country, Infusion has received 2 prestigious ARIA awards for their work. More recently Jamie's discography has been highlighted by a contribution (Prism) to John Digweed and Nick Muir's 'Versus’ album along with 'The Wonder of You', released in 2013 on microCastle, which turned out to be one of his career best pieces of work. It earned a #1 chart placing in both Tech House and Electronica on Beatport and was widely regarded as one of the year's best releases. Always a magical remixer Jamie has reinvented the sparkling, melodic 'Some Break' into a stomping techno beast of a record. Already played by Jeremy Olander & Guy J at the VH1 Supersonic festival it looks to be one of Jamie's biggest techno productions of the year.
