Pagans attempts to take you off the beaten track; to offer an unbridled musical search, unpredictable, a composition performed by an iconoclastic orchestra of classical, electronic and ancient instruments, woven through with improvisations roaming sound recordings... as a possible reconciliation between our hyper-connected society and the environment.
Meeting and spending time with the Hopi Indians and the Mongolian nomads sourced a deep inspiration behind the ‘Axis Mundi Reload’ project, a powerful musical collection to be released early 2022. Pagans is the second EP to be released ahead of the forthcoming album.
With remix collaborations by Pan Electric (aka Matt Coldrick of Green Nuns of the Revolution) and the legendary Total Eclipse, this Ep is truly a journey into another world.

This is the dj set which was created for "MIRRORBOWLER exhibition : PLANET OF MIRRORBOWLER " at Shinsaibashi PARCO, Osaka, from December 2021 to February 2022. The time you spend touching the works using the magic of light and reflections, you'll feel a mysterious uplifting sensation as if you have come to travel to some other planet in the universe. This journey begins with a piece by Vangelis, one of the Earth's most famous musicians, who recently left for the world of light. We have uploaded it here as a memorial to him. Enjoy it!

2021年12月〜2022年02月、大阪・心斎橋PARCOで開催された ”MIRRORBOWLER ミラーボーラー星の旅”展覧会用BGMとして制作したDJ-MIXです。
光と反射の魔法を使った作品群に触れる時間は、まるで宇宙のどこか別の惑星へ旅しにきたような不思議な高揚感を感じられるでしょう。この旅は、先日光の世界へ旅立った地球を代表する音楽家Vangelis の作品から始まります。彼への追悼の意味も込めて、こちらにアップ致しました♪ お楽しみください。

HAFT, the Iranian duo of Sam Nasehi and Amir Subb, are known for fusing hypnotic synths, deep- rooted pads, and intricate percussion into a sound that bridges traditional textures with modern progressive house. Their debut three-track EP on Balance Music delivers a journey filled with psychedelic undercurrents and shimmering atmospheres that is crafted equally for the dance floor and for deep listening.

The brooding ‘Driftor’ is designed to nudge any DJ set in the right direction. An off-beat bass drives the engine, allowing you to comfortably sit in the pocket of its inviting narrative. Steely drums and percussion form a cohesive frame, while a bag of tasteful effects, samples, and stabs fill the remaining spaces. Once the breakdown hits, in all its subtlety, you know you’re in the hands of professionals. This is essential prog, designed for any occasion.

There is an undercurrent of psychedelia running through ‘Myntal’, hypnotic and consuming. Low- end frequencies double as notes, merging with the bass to create a dizzying effect. Its main-room identity, however, is confirmed by drums that strut forward with propulsive energy. It all points towards a seductive breakdown, its layering teasing a drop that confirms it: this is designed for floors ready to ignite.

Filled with depth, ‘Prism’ shimmers and shakes as synths and stabs perpetually morph. The result is a continuous stream of sonic moments to lose yourself in. Thankfully, the dense bassline and drums bring you back from the edge of hypnosis, filling the space with an elastic energy as buoyant as a trampoline. Then comes the breakdown: bells dissolve into minor-key haze, half beautiful, half surreal: an inviting dream-logic that is hard to deny.
