A music junkie at heart it was a natural progression to want to share it with others . My music passion is as strong as ever as is my appreciation of different music styles but still with a deep affinity for psychedelic music, leftfield and eclectic sounds. I have shared my music on dance floors large and small from major music festivals
here in Australia to intimate club gigs and house parties. I have always played music I love and currently present a weekly radio program on 99.9 Bay FM in Byron Bay and I am involved with a live music platform www.buskanova.com that is launching this December. I have worked in the music industry for over 15 years with independent record labels and distributors and have presented radio shows here in Byron Bay and Melbourne for close to 20 years. I don’t play out nearly as much as I used to but love the opportunity when I do and believe it or not this is the first time I have laid a mix down for others to hear and really appreciate that John gave me the opportunity to do this and the push I needed to do it. Geopard Tourist was formed from a childhood friendship in 2020. Its main driving force is the feeling of rock n roll and the love for catchy but dirty sounds. They played together in several bands before they ended up behind the dj deck. Living in Hungary in the middle of europe they were inspired by lot of types of electronic coming from the west and east as well. Their first official ep arrived in 2022 on Playground Records. The remix for one of the tracks was made by the Australian cosmic sherpa, Dreems, whose more psychedelic sound is also a big influence for them. Their first vinyl release together with turkish Vedat Akdag came out in december titled ‘Little Bag of Hope’ where they start to craft their post rock sound.

Maurizio Dami aka Alexander Robotnick is a DJ and a producer from Italy who gained a vast reputation in the early 80s with his track “Problèmes d'amour” released by Sire-Wea which soon became a “cult” within dance music. In the 90s he was very active on the world-music scene but went back to electronics at the beginning of the new millennium. In 2003 he started his career as an international DJ and since then has been playing in major cities in Europe and the U.S. at famous clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Plastic People in London, Coral Room and Love in NYC, Razzmatazz, Olympia and Be Cool in Barcelona, Sky Bar and Smart Bar in Chicago, Berghain in Berlin, Paradiso in Amsterdam.... the list is long.

He played at many electronic music festivals such as Movement Festival (Detroit), Exit Festival (Serbia), Insonnia (Tromzo), Geek Picnick Festival (Moscow), Dimension Festival (Croatia), Altavoz (Medellin) Reverso (Milan) Lente Kabinet (Amsterdam) Glitch Festival (Malta) Biennale Musica (Venice), Electro-Mechanica (St. Petersburg), Dekmantel (Amsterdam)... just to mention a few.

His records are released by many labels including SIRE/WEA, Materiali Sonori, Yellow Production, Creme Organization, Permanent Vacation, Hot Banana, This Is Music, Clone Records, Bordello a Parigi, and Bosconi Records, for instance. Since 2003, he's been running his own label: Hot Elephant Music (https://www.hot-elephant.com). He remixed tracks by Detroit Grand Pubahs, Giorgio Moroder, Robosonic, Kompute, Little Boots, David Carretta, Planet Funk, Bottin, and Fabrizio Mammarella... just to mention a few.

He gained a reputation also as a video maker. His odd and funny video clips got more than 4 million views on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/mauriziodami).

His DJing style covers different genres of dance music: New-Disco, Italo-Disco, Tech-House, Electro-House etc. With Ludus Pinsky he started the project "The Analog Session" (https://www.the-analog-session.it). Their most popular video clip "N5 from outer space" reached more than 1,5 million views (https://youtu.be/H511Iye6BsI).

Maurizio Dami lives in Firenze (Italy). He owns a basement studio–apartment in town where he spends all his time when in Firenze. The rest of the time he spends at the seaside in South Tuscany or in Sri Lanka/India during the winter. He is still performing live concerts and DJ-Sets, but since he is a bit old, he is limiting his activity. He uses to play DJ-Sets in India during the winter. During the period 2015-2020, he travelled by motorbike through many South Indian states taking shots. Maurizio is doing quite well despite the ailments due to his age, 72. And he owns all things he needs, including a studio, car, bicycle, and some cash. He has a long-term love affair with Donatella. They are celebrating 22 years of not-marriage right now. He still enjoys his work in the studio as he did at the beginning of his career, and this is very important. So, life should be easy for him. Unfortunately, the present geo-political situation makes him very concerned and also disappointed with the new generations who seem not to understand or care about what is happening and why.

Karla Lynch is a French DJ, producer, party-organizer and shortly label manager. Her stage name refers to the eponymous film-maker and his strange and dreamlike art. Her project was born when she joined the Human Magic collective in 2022. She’s since played in major Parisian clubs and festivals such as Badaboum, Marvellous Island Festival, Madame Loyal Festival, Kilomètre25, Le Mazette and across France and beyond. Her first track « Red Mirage »  out on HEARec has been premiered on Feinstoff. 

Expect a concoction of mystical indie dance with hypnotic rhythms and dark disco with rock sonorities. 
At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic journey.

This set for Disco Suicide starts with the unreleased tribute to Pink Floyd of her mentor and collaborator Iba Boö.

A very special - all unreleased Discobeton a.k.a Technobeton set.
The mix was created in the first days of 2021 out of many old project files, which weren’t finished. Some of them were hated, some of them - not so much. After pouring the whole raw material into one big file. Things started to get much clearer. Some parts, urged to go to the dark bottom on the bass side, while some others dropped their heaviness and became angel voices or dreamy melodies. The first two tracks are like a fog curtain, opening and introducing different characters. They talk to each other in a very wise and somehow pathetic language, because the scenes happen in Ancient Greece. Then the disco beat comes, and conversations get more emotional, close, and even indecent. The several cinematographic moments are interpretations of personal Dramas that happened to Discobeton and weren’t censored, because of his sentimental and theatric character
