"Niteffect has made a concept album for us, dedicated to Man's Best Friend and our puppy Dalmata Daniel couldn't be more honoured!

This album is Niteffect's debut on our label, but we are not talking about a rookie producer, because he has been releasing music since 2007 mostly on Hamburg-based Kreislauf. His music is mainly characterized by strong emotion melodies, deep basses mixing with downtempo, trip-hop, idm, and deep house sound elements.

Man's Best Friend is an electro-oriented album, sometimes with breaks or other broken beats sound, but the most common that all the tracks have deep emotional synth waves. Niteffect playfully uses these to create melancholic and more upbeat moods, creating a varied but coherent whole, perfectly capturing the changing experiences of a summer vibe."

Olivia returns to Dalmata Daniel with her debut album after her EPs on Pinkman and Dom Trojga and split vinyl with Tel Aviv-based Rapha on our label lately.

Machine Cult is an electronic music platform hosted by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe. Functions on one side as a record label. On the other, an event series. The launch party will be taking place in OT301 (Amsterdam) on the 25th of November. The purpose is to showcase a part of what the local and international scene the Netherlands has to offer. You simply don’t know what else to do. As you lose control of your body’s health you could eventually lose control over your mind too. 
Until  one day you’ll wake up knowing that, instead of continuing investing yourself in your instruments, they slowly become controlling towards you. So, if a friend invites you to a jam session, use your brain, while you still can. And just, say, yes.

Berlin’s Ecke Records continues to deliver its esoteric sound crafted for discerning dance floors and diggers here as Bakläxa delivers her ‘swordfish’ EP on tape via the imprint.
Ecke Records presents a new release series: ‘dECK’. Each release comprises tracks in digital & tape format. The work is from a selected artist with remix(es). The tape run will be a limited edition of 50. Bakläxa is a DJ, producer & radio host, she plays a mix of left-field bass, hard drum, grime, dancehall and percussion-driven dance music.
Her 'Learning Curves' show on THFRadio aims to explore projects that are running in and around the city of Berlin that are working in the sectors of social change, activism and cultural awareness. She’s released productions on compilations including Ecke Records’ ‘F.O.E.’ Series and Paloma's ‘Paloma Vs. Virus 005’. Alongside these she’s also released a ravey two track EP CiV / VIC on ClubQu as Neutralised - a Cybernetic DJ Duo formed with pbl.fyi.
The release can be best described as being in the middle-ether between three pillars: deconstructed UK Bass, cinematic sound-design pieces & soul-filled pop-driven UK Techno tools. The signature track ‘swordfish’ sets the scene with a heavily emotion laden outing. Sensual vocal hits are inter-spliced with a evocative melody line, complemented with movie-scene worthy sound-design distorted bass hits. Next up is ‘tool’, a straight up no nonsense club track that has what can be described as a certain cheeky nature. Pokey percussion intersects the mix, a warm bass and viber pads can be found complimenting each other as the tune unfolds.
‘have faith’ is up next, washing pads find themselves complemented by a subtle breakbeat that teases the listener before a huge kick switches up the pace. Again we see a warm bass introduced to wrap the listener in a fuzzy blanket as they cross the finish line. Ecke’s own Xantrax is up next with a remix of ‘tool’, the pokey percs of the original become crispier, with creepy vocals and an absolutely churning synth line counter-playing against more playful, almost future garage facing, that keep the listener guessing what could come next.
‘smh’ is a track that can be described as a ‘pop-tool’ - blissed out piano and vocalisms that explore the relationships we have with love & loves lost. A 4/4 kick is introduced to drive the track forward, making this a perfect melancholic tool for a desired moment. ‘haze’ is the penultimate track on the release, which sees Bakläxa partaking on a deep, sound design enriched journey. Epic pads, with richly effected percs take the listener on a fuzzy adventure into the unknown, with an eerie grating synth line creeping in and out throughout.
To finish, Suno Soniason comes with the ‘Escap Verte Mix’ of ‘smh’. Vigorous resampling sees Suno present a dub facing half-time 160 adventure across seven and a half minutes. A long stomping intro evolves into 3 different bassline sections, suited for the long-blend selector

Releasing a compilation is not an easy task. Selecting and then inviting 4, 8, 10 artists or more, establishing a deadline, approving or not the demos, mastering... it is a nightmare! The final result can be a pleasant multi-genre journey whose soundscape represents exactly what the label owners want to deliver or a devious and jagged outcome.

For its very first VA, the cool Barcelona-based Out Records welcomed back some familiar faces such as Rocco.fx and Dromia and drafted a dream team of young talented debutantes: Amps, C.MØ, Dunkel, Jeremy Flagelo, Leon XIV, Mat Spiaggi, Micro.Tron, Papp, and POSSEF followed their hearts and came up with some hot stuff for the occasion.

Premiered here, Amps’ contribution, the opening act of the soiree, properly showcases the capabilities of the skilled Argentinian producer. For “Disinformation Tactics”, Lucas Mari opened up his acid tool kit once again and brought to life a frenzied Electro cut with a Holy-Moly amount of, yeah, acid soaking it from top to bottom. The result is a peak-time-only melter!
