Qodless shares an analogy with "codeless", which as a whole, could be interpreted as an ode to the mystery and beauty behind darkness and its lack of information. In physics, it's known that obscure objects/spaces absorb photons instead of reflecting them, creating an absence of light. Could this concept be transposed to the human experience, at an energetic level? A rich sonic canvas filled by Italian musicians Andrea Bellucci and Moreno Padoan, influenced by glitch, industrial, ambient and noise.

Fasting Culture is Barkosina Hanusova's debut book publication with a music tape,drenched in multidisciplinary art forms her magnum opus entitled “Fasting Culture” has no shortage of performance art elements. Barkosina draws resemblance of human nutritive starvation with cultural starvation, urging us to reevaluate what cultural existence means to us. Throughout the creation of this Opus, Barkosina has fasted andcreated a daily audio piece with spontaneity and immediacy, capturing raw material that reflects on the current emotion in time and space.
Barkosina is a London based performance and sound artist from the Czech Republic. She holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts (Goldsmiths University of London). She has trained in Theatre de l’Ange Fou’s corporeal mime- physical theatre practice and International school of language and drama. She is an autodidact with a strong engagement in music, and literature.
Working across diverse artistic practices and languages within Contemporary Art, such as Performance Art, Theatre Arts, Poetry, and Music, her work explores the dialogue between everyday life and performance. Transcending the power of storytelling by embodying words and turning them into potent imagery, actions, objects, and sounds. She aims to draw out the entertaining and tragic elements of the human experience.
Barkosina is also one half of Years of Denial with whom she has released music on various labels including Death & Leisure, Veyl Records, Modular Mind, Pinkman and Khemia.

Replicants' astonishing EP series reaches its conclusion with 'Supersonic'. The range of sonic experimentation extends beyond reasonable expectation, celebrating unbridled artistry and perhaps breaking fresh trails for classic electro styles.

The opening title track, 'supersonic' shows off an orchestration of cascading pitch delay feedback fx, tempered by organic drum programming and a flattened reso bass holding down an ambiguous tonal center. Fills and flourishes run wild all over this cut.

Immaculate 808 programming opens 'voice of Q', commanding central focus until a monstrous vocoder kicks the door in with a huge random resonant synth in tow. Replicants spacey synth layers elevate the breakdown sections between fierce snare workouts and robotic recitations.

'This much I know' is a vessel for spacey robotic chants and psychedelic synth work that take on exciting variations through a delightful series of sections. This is Replicants signature vibe perfectly executed.

Fearless fusion is what sets Replicants apart from other producers. crossing boundaries between new wave, disco, and electro to craft unusual hybrids we never knew we needed, until they exist. 'Caught Slippin' is another absurd makeover crossing into retro futuristic new wave territory and referencing the Talking Heads.

Closing out the EP and the series is 'the waste of time'. Evolving from an exciting percussion intro into an energetic breakbeat, the track transitions into a sparse vocoder workout with exciting drum patterns punctuating every section. Synths arriving at the mid point are orchestrated with undeniably human agenda.

The Bandcamp version of this release features the bonus mixes and bootlegs we've come to anticipate with each Replicants EP.

There was a tear in poor Robbie’s eye when Chris mounted the steps of that bus for Valencia. Yet change means new opportunities and WE FORFEIT have been lucky enough to have play a handful of times at the wonderful Killing Time in Valencia. 
The last time the lads were there, a two hour set of caustic and raw electronics was the serving. Robbie was up first and sadly only his part of the mix survives. Nevertheless, the memories of a cracking night with las fallas at Happy Mondays will be cherished for years to come.
This episode starts off with some a favourite from Dark Entries, the klepto-electro new beat of Grey House opens before some mellow techno machinations care of John Beltran, DJN4 and Gerd. Chris takes over with some new Chicago house grit with some friendlier numbers sprinkled in with Paul Hardcastle and our favourite Hyboid.
Our mix goes from weirded wave into acid absolution and then dives headlong into some hedonism, even a bitta Kraftwerk in there.
