Rambal Cochet (aka St Petersberg’s Konstantyn Isaev aka Volta Cab) lands on Wrong Era with four electronic snapshots suited to the more robust dancefloor. Opener,Leptis Magna, builds and twists through subtle plateaus’ towards a storm of climactic strings that clear to reveal momentary elation. Elation becomes soundtrack suspense on Fabrizio Mammarella’s remix, stripping back the parameters (while bringing the rhythm to the fore), resulting in a driving, tunnel trancer. Enter The Infinite is a steady builder; each tweak charming you towards twilight’s dancing silhouettes. Ombra International continues the legacy of inviting artists each from a different country, to share their mutual love for the wave and acid tinged spectrum of dark club music. Finnish- Berlin - based OBI BLANCHE makes his Ombra INTL Debut with a powerful kraut-punk acid tinged jam channeling his roots in the guitar and fringe electronic
scenes as a staple member for years in the Anika band, as well as Thomas Azier. From Palawan was partly produced in the heart of the Loatian mountains, with samples found during Mura Mura‘s last roadtrip in South East Asia. Back in Lyon, his moog and his guitar we do the rest.“
French Dark Italo-tech prince, BACK FROM THE WAVE conjures an emotional ride for the strobe filled dance floors and Tokyo‘s prolific QUE SAKAMOTO joins forces with his friend NT to bring us a sludged out electro banger. Lyon‘s MURA MURA makes his Ombra debut as well, takes us on a slow and funky hypnotic journey with a song
composed in the Loatian Mountains with samples from his last trip in South East Asia.
Last but not least, the mysterious Naples-based Dark Wave screamo band bring a 136 bpm post punk infused anthem for the end of days.

For his first solo EP, Tushen Raï designed a record in the form of a colorful patchwork of sounds, a meticulous collage of samples, surrounding noises and synthesizers. Here, Maori percussion dug on field recording discs from the late 60s and 70s meet Indonesian chants recorded on phones and posted anonymously online. A nostalgic yet deeply contemporary testimony to an imagination weakened resulting from the cultural globalization. 

With "Drums Circles", Tushen Raï wants to reconnect with the adventure novels, from Jules Vernes to Barjavel, which nourished his childhood. Thought out as an ode to the diversity of our cultures, our practices and our beliefs, "Drums Circles" is a cry in favor of open-mindedness and curiosity. It is an invitation to discovery rather than to conquest. 

A humble invitation to embark on a journey and to collective trance.

He delivers a 3 original track ep filled with ebm & new beat inspired music.
Heavy basslines, strong snares, raw synths and some vocal hints are some of the things you will listen.

Luca Venezia aka Curses delivers a heavier and acid version of You Better Don't. Imagine making that piano stabs even bigger, well Curses nailed it.

Then Moonoton takes the club cut What Comes Next and enhances it with a more club-oriented rendition. Pure heat!

Last but not least, our dear Jorkes reworks Ruina Rodeo and creates a new atmosphere and electro version of it. On top of that he adds a fantastic spanish vocal, as the artists explains it "yearning for a daddy to caress me". A lot of feeling poured into this one.

Epicure Records presents "Cosmic Truth" #EPI023, a deep dive into the hypnotic realms of dark disco and indie dance crafted by Yerno Vil.
