Born and raised in Indonesia, @omarjoesoef-1 built this EP with samples of old records of ethnic music that he has found in an abandoned radio station on Java island. Named Lokananta, it is one of the first radios setting up in Indonesia in the 50’s. The recordings in Omar’s EP come from rituals and meditative chants of one of the last tribes still living in the ancient way, completely disconnected from the modern world.

Seb El Zin, the French composer and multi-instrumentalist known for being a rule breaker in music with his progressive, psychedelic and highly non-4/4 band ITHAK, and hip-hop-free-noise collective ANARCHIST REPUBLIC OF BZZZ, makes his debut in the electronic music scene by entering the stage through a door he designed himself : an atypical uptempo production, driven and influenced by two decades of exposure to turkish music, and filled with original and idiosyncratic sounds that will enchant every listener. By marrying traditional Ottoman patterns with prog-psy elements in a modern electronic music context, Seb El Zin has created his own language. Unlike the name of his debut EP "Lingua Minimalista '' suggests, his productions are full of subtle melodic details and irresistible harmonies. We, at THISBE Recordings, fall for that paradox and the phenomenon Seb El Zin.
The musician brings a fresh approach to the Indie electronic music world, making the label delighted to release his debut EP, a production that includes the title track "Lingua Minimalista" and the single "The Hashashins´Aksak".
Remixes by French producer & DJ Andrew Claristidge and Berlin-based label head honcho Pyrame do complete the EP.

'Audio Diaries' follows the innovative and expansive journey of London artist, Bassically. Written in isolation in a self-established, improvised studio during the pandemic. Bassically is one of many projects masterminded by Raz Olsher, the founder of Fossil Studios. Raz has worked with the likes of Gilles Peterson, Lemar and M. J. Cole and recently writes as Raz & Afla; A new exciting musical duo making waves on the UK Afrobeat scene. This stunning new album came about when Raz, stranded in quarantine on a remote beach in Thailand, challenged himself to write a track every day through the month of April. The 30 resulting tracks have been narrowed down to 13 and are now presented on this immersive journey into the mind of a musical mystic. The audio journal takes listeners on a deep adventure through a dynamic range of UK dance genres. Raz’s vision and project attracted the attention of e-instruments and Electronic Groove, amongst others, who requested to interview him. In this inspirational interview, Raz speaks of his COVID-19 period as one of seclusion and incubation in which he overcame adversity to grow and create.
