Der Mensch spielt Theater.
Theater ist die erste Erfindung des Menschen und zugleich die Erfindung, die den Weg zu allen weiteren menschlichen Erfindungen geebnet hat. 
Theater entsteht, wenn der Mensch entdeckt, dass er sich selbst beobachten und sich in diesem Akt des Sehens selbst in situ betrachten kann. Indem er sich selbst beobachtet, entdeckt der Mensch, was er nicht ist und stellt sich vor, was er hätte werden können. Er erfasst, wo er ist und wo er nicht ist und stellt sich vor, wohin er gehen könnte. Der Mensch ist also in der Lage, sich im Akt des Sehens, Fühlens, Denkens und Handelns zu beobachten. Er kann sich selbst fühlend spüren und sein eigenes Denken wiederum reflektieren. Er kann das Malen erfinden, weil er das Theater erfunden hat. Er nimmt sich selbst im Akt des Sehens wahr. Kein Tier ist in der Lage, sich selbst bei der Jagd zu beobachten.

Following stellar tracks on Eastern Nurseries' 2022 compilation 'Wild Love to Grow' and 'Songs For Sirens' earlier this year, Mirror Organs' label debut "Sunless" sees the London-based producer deliver a strident selection of compositions that shimmer on new horizons of what contemporary ambient music can be.

Known for his previous work on his own imprint Steep Incline, Mirror Organs' second album sees the artist in a moment of transition. Sculpted granular harmonics and glitched-out drum programming encircle one another while spectral disembodied vocals cut through with an uncanny valley sensibility. Sonic blasts and ghostly drones offer dynamic richness throughout the album's opening oeuvre, while the tail-end of "Sunless" conjures an altogether headier atmosphere driven by its dancefloor aesthetic impulses. Cut-up breakbeats introduce a readiness to embrace a stroboscopic point of view, set against a glorious backdrop of youthful, post-rave nostalgia. Playful by design, 'Sunless' markedly bears influence from the UK's rich history of dance music innovation as much as it does from recent European ambient movements - a returnal moment driven by Pooley's first experiences with electronic music in the late '00s.

Troisième volet d'une trilogie de compiles sorties sur Olga Productions, après "DÉLITEMENT" et "Ruines", ", ' ' · , sur les cendres" clot le cycle et l'arc narratif des trois volets, qui reflète l'évolution de la décadence au renouveau, de la désolation à la redécouverte.

We wanted to work around the new rituals, journeys, and ways of celebration—the soundtrack to emerging from the ashes and discovering fresh avenues for revelry and exploration, embracing the novel expressions of joy, the rhythms of resilience.

This release marks the end of a trilogy on Olga Productions, following "DÉLITEMENT" and "Ruines."
As the final installment in this cycle, ", ' ' · , sur les Cendres" completes the narrative arc, offering a musical journey that reflects the evolution from decay to renewal, from desolation to rediscovery.

This release carries a heavier center of gravity, 
shaped by a deep reflection on what it means to live.
"All Things Align Upon a Single Axis" stands as the main track with beats, while "Continuum" explores beatless soundscapes. "Convergence" gently brings rhythm back, as if to breathe life into the cycle. The closing piece, "Equilibrium," unfolds in a spacious, beatless form.
Each piece emerged from improvisations during Kaito live acts, refined in the studio yet preserving their raw energy.
