MUTANT MODALITY is a new platform and music label exploring strange and cathartic forms of artistic expression - through the prism of different atmospheres. It will provide soundtracks influenced by our times, while encouraging a sense of community between like-minded artists operating across experimental and dancefloor music.

The new Brussels-based output for mutant sounds is back with a second uncompromising opus exploring different modalities of post-punk, noise-infused techno, hybrid body music, metal-adjacent drone AND BEYOND. HOUSES OF WORSHIP 

Houses of Worship is a collaborative project featuring Montreal-based musicians Eric Quach (thisquietarmy) and Jim Demos (Hellenica). Together, they skillfully merge bass synth engines and string pads with improvised guitar drones, crafting dystopian ambient-electronic soundscapes showcased in their recent albums released by Somewherecold and Midira Records. Beyond their musical pursuits, Quach and Demos exhibit a passion for bringing their art to the public sphere. This commitment is evident in their spontaneous performances within the confines of a cube truck on the streets of Montreal, A/V sets in diverse venues across Europe, and the transformation of phone booths into interactive sound art installations. The duo wholeheartedly embraces the opportunity to engage their audience through innovative and immersive experiences.

Belly Hatcher is a Canadian electronic project based in Montreal / Tiohtià:ke. Formed in 2022 the duo's distinctive sound blends industrial, punk, techno-house, new beat and EBM. Inspired by Le Théatre de l'Absurde and automatism, Belly Hatcher's high energy live performances showcase their unique vision. Dissonant vocals, electronic beats and a commanding stage presence collide to create a truly impactful experience. This new musical enterprise is composed of Rubin G (formerly Low Factor) and Cris.py (ex-member of Perverted Justice and Police des Moeurs). Their first release the 12" Armed Care came out in 2023 on German label Young&Cold.

Marlen is a long time multi-instrument and multi-disciplinary live performer. He has been effortlessly crossing genre boundaries with many electronic music projects for the past 15 years: from experimental noise to dubstep, techno, trap, breakcore, barock... you name it. He also brings his passion for live performances into the theatre projects he is part of.
His main focusses nowadays are leaning towards modular synths and then performing mental breaky techno blended with some amen breaks, industrial noise or gabber elements.
