Phrygian Mode is an emerging DJ and producer based in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he began studying and performing music at a young age. While beginning his path as a multi-instrumentalist and being educated in classical music, he has long been an enthusiast of darker sounds. Post punk auditory, eerie and aggressive rhythms is what inspired his ambience. While experimenting with his own sound and vision for his music, he is a resident DJ for OSM Tapes, and his music is characterized as raw, industrial techno with explosive EBM elements. When it comes to his own producing approach, a gloomy and nostalgic style develops through stormy and powerful bass lines.

Mutant Modality (MMXX) experimental series is back, this time get prepared for a “hot noise summer”! We're proud to present the first official music project from a very special artist : Bile Pile is none other than NVDP - the visual force behind all the crazy designs of our label. Under the name Bile Pile, they operate on the spectrum of dredging noise music, self-described as "disgusting and distorted frequencies from the lowlands".

Their first EP “terrible tales of black rains, ashen fields and metal that screams” drags you down through layers of swamp ooze, rusted machinery, blown circuits, and the mechanical grind of a world in collapse. Expect 4 tracks of reverse-dystopia, moral catharsis and pure sonic rot: TO LISTEN LOUD OR NOT AT ALL.

Bienvenue dans le tout premier épisode de Tarab Transmissions, une émission dédiée aux musiques et aux artistes des régions SWANA (South West Asia & North Africa) et de leurs diasporas. Un voyage sonore qui traverse les époques et les styles : folk psychédélique, jazz, musiques électroniques, rock anatolien, hip-hop et hybridations contemporaines.

Dans ce premier épisode, on croise des figures légendaires et des artistes visionnaires :

- Roger Fakhr, guitariste libanais culte dont les cassettes circulaient pendant la guerre civile ;

- un hommage à Ziad Rahbani, pianiste, compositeur et voix majeure du jazz arabe récemment disparu ;

- la trompettiste Yazz Ahmed, la chanteuse stambouliote Gaye Su Akyol, ou encore Hello Psychaleppo, pionnier de l’« electro-tarab » ;
