Andrea Mancini alias Cleveland, born in Luxembourg into an Italian family, is a music producer and DJ behind the releases on Hivern Discs,label, ESP Institute or kalahari oyster cuts. The sound universe of Cleveland, although being versatile, is clearly recognizable. Built around warm "Left-field" tones and organic rhythms.

In the mix are a selection of records he was planning to play in the backroom at Tokyo's Feelin' Pretty night which sadly has had to be postponed until "after the apocalypse" so he wanted to put together something that showcased records planned for that set, a little less heads down rolling and a bit more... backroomy.

For the grand finale of our ://about blank Tribute we invited our long time friend Ahu who also happens to be part of the technical crew of the club we call our home. Ahu is also running one of the most inspiring labels, Shahr Farang, and collabortates occasionally with Warning resident Erik Jäähalli. His closing set here is also the most diverse of all contributions. With this set reflects not only the diversity of Ahu as a DJ and musician but also gives a great example of how a Warning party could sound if it would be distilled to the time of one and half hour.

Other labels he's released on include Boe Recordings, Where We Met, Emotions Electric, Childhood Intelligence, Assemble, Subwax Excursions, Propersound and Spaecial. Through these releases his varied production styles have been flexed whilst always retaining a clear identity
centred around melodic, emotional sounds.

@derekcarr has been producing and releasing Detroit-tinged electronic music for almost two decades. He has recently released music on labels such as ‘for those that Knoe’, @subwax-bcn-distribution, ‘Ferox’, @craigie-knowes and @firescopemusic. 
Born and raised in Westmeath, Ireland, Derek got an early taste for finely crafted melodic techno through compilations like Network’s "Bio-Rhythms" and Warp’s "Pioneers of the Hypnotic Groove". Having been a fan of bands such as Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode through his formative years, Derek felt drawn to this new sound coming from Detroit, Sheffield and Leeds.
Recognising the home made ‘punk’ ethos of early ‘Bleep techno’ he began to pick up second hand instruments, initially investing in a cheetah sampler and boss drum machine.
Derek then set about creating his own sound, a sound that owed much to the techno pioneers, B12, the Black Dog, As One, Nexus 21 and Rhythmatic to name but a few.
In 2001 Derek launched his own label "Trident Recordings" and released the "Copper Beech e.p." (the only release to date) a collection of deep soulful techno. Only 500 copies were pressed and it has since become something of a collector’s item.
Subsequent releases on "Digital Soul" and "Geek Records" further cemented Carr’s place amongst a new generation of techno producers that looked to combine soul and melody with electronic dancefloor grooves.
Derek Carr has built a worthy reputation for producing stunning deep techno and delivering quality DJ and Live sets across Europe.

Brawther, Prins Thomas, Thomas Fehlmann and Markus Suckut rework FDF on ‘The Omega Interpretations Chapter II’ for Freund Der Familie.

This June will see Leipzig, Germany’s Freund Der Familie revisit some of label founders FDF’s material for the second instalment of ‘The Omega Interpretations’, this time round widening the sonic scope to present a range of remixes from Balearic to House, Dub Techno and Ambient. Every artist has one side of the double pack green marbled vinyl, allowing them creative freedom and the maximum length to explore.

French House maestro Brawther steps up first with his ‘Underwater Mix’ of ‘Omega’, exploring jazzy breaks and hazy chords alongside ethereal synth pads and squelchy 303 lines. Norwegian Nu-Disco hero Prins Thomas steps up next with his ‘Diskomiks’ twist on ‘Das Klaster’ next, a typically funk-infused workout fuelled by organic drums, an amalagamtion of chuggy arpeggio lines and expansive atmospherics.

Thomas Fehlmann’s ‘Flowing Crimson Mix’ of ‘Ohm 1-4’ follows next, the Swiss artist offers up his signature style via drawn out, subtly nuanced textures, glitched out muted drums and pulsing low-end tones. Thomas chose to remix this track because the original features a sample from ‘Moonchild’ by King Crimson and he’s worked with guitarist of the band Robert Fripp several times over the years. Markus Suckut then wraps up the package with his remix of ‘Thyll’, a hypnotic 11 minutes fuelled by tumbling percussive delays, sweeping reverberations and a loop driven, low-slung rhythm.
