A sultry evening in late spring or early summer. You're sitting in an almost deserted restaurant. Behind the wide open panoramic windows are black silhouettes of cypresses and the lights of the city, spreading like a crescent along the coast. Your boldly colored silk shirt clings to your body. An olive pit floats in a muddy glass. A woman quietly weeps at the next table, unsuccessfully attempting to light a cigarette with her shaking hands. Colorful confetti is generously scattered across the dark brown tile floor. The person with whom you arrived together went away a few hours ago «to dance for a minute» and disappeared without a trace. A crimson lipstick stain remains on a crumpled napkin. It's time to leave, but instead you gesture to a bored waitress standing near a huge dieffenbachia to renew your champagne. She rolls her eyes in displeasure and heads toward the bar. Cicadas and unknown birds chirping outside. Is this a dream? Perhaps. We’re happy to welcome another bi-monthly show‘: ’Bar Jerusalem" is a newborn event series in Lithuania, orchestrated by Akvilina and Onis. It's dedicated to the ethnic and experimental sounds ranging from the Middle East to the rest of the world, gathering its most obscure phonic inspirations. The city of Jerusalem is known for its multicultural importance and a thick veil of mysticism - these both characteristics echo strongly in the event cycle.

Each mixtape of the series will tell a new story and guides through a different journey, full of cinematic sound and eclectic music. Akvilina is kicking off this bi-monthly show on Mutant radio, and their weekly parties with Onis are already going on Kablys club on Thursdays. Dive in!

A realization that the other side of the dancefloor is where she belongs first struck Akvilina after her spontaneous debut behind the decks back in 2013 in London. Ever since then, she's been consistently getting more involved in the scene. After throwing a series of beloved urban rave parties under the name of CinnèMon (which soon became an entire movement of fashion and music) she continues her musical journey.
