Finnish sound architect Mesak—co-founder of the seminal electro duo Mr. Velcro Fastener—joins us for a focused transmission for our regular show topic „Storytelling studies for future dancefloors&couches“. His solo works, released via Dolly, Klakson, n s y d e , and his own Harmönia label, navigate the peripheries of electro, funk, and explorative electronic abstraction. As founder of the genre-fluid @n s y d e  imprint, Zepezauer’s practice spans club culture and contemporary sound art. His work has been presented in seminal contexts such as Berghain, Tresor, and Concrete Paris, and extends into interdisciplinary collaborations—including the Sun Ra Reel to Reel Sessions with Mike Huckaby and a Wagnerian opera intervention with the Berlin Academy of Arts. Renowned for sculpting unpredictable, immersive soundscapes, his sets traverse from raw house dialects to ambient abstraction, opening space for new sonic imaginaries.
