Listening to records with her can feel like an endless opening up, and it's a true joy-- like eating sun-ripened peach on an island beach, with your closest friends abound, slowly sinking into the sand, as the cool waves melt into your body.

Before ever chatting with Izaak, mutual friends told us both how much we reminded them of each other. Somewhere in lockdown, we finally connected and have been messaging constantly; about music, but also this vacuum we call life on Earth. One day, we'll meet. For now, friendship takes many forms and this mix is one of them. 

Izaak says the sound is very January, and I'd have to agree. My roommate came in while it was on and said this mix was very sad. I think it feels more like a k-hole. Either way, here's to the blues and all the feelings that come with cold weather and out of body experiences. Catch Iz for the first hour.
