There, he began a mix series of pitched down cinematic journeys called 'Safari', often constructed in many sonic layers. He's a true Gemini, always up for some mischief and new adventures when travelling with friends and like-minded peeps. He hates waiting, certainly in queues. His only phobia is of spiders above a certain size, which will def occur in this mix at some point. Furthermore, it's again a fierce collage concept. A sultry, mad, flaming, desperate river of no return.....

» This sonic landscape is a musical odyssey into a distant realm and its hidden memories — a tribute to nature's relentless brutality as well as its beauty, to an everlasting cycle of of extreme conditions that shape an unforgiving landscape. Imagine gnarled, sun-bleached trees shrouded in mist while countless creatures crawl beneath their twisted roots, and with every overturned leaf, a new microcosm emerges, revealing the intricate beauty amidst the savagery. It becomes difficult to tell whether the sky or the abyss lies above or below. 

What you hear is a collage of ethereal voices and sounds, fusing echoes of the past with whispers of the future. It is also a metaphor for an inner journey. Following on from a magic instalment of Braille Satellite festival which took place at Mushroom Manor, deep in the Lithuanian woods, André Pahl, Elina Tapio and Hannah Pezzack joined forces for a b2b2b train at Radio Vilnius. Opening with an ode to Brion Gysin by Genesis P-Orridge, this mix features all the genres closest to our hearts: cosmic clown music, gnocchi rock, weasel-inspired melodies, downtempo, gravelly monologues from middle-aged Brits, choral trance and tripped-out rhythmics.

X.Y.R. is a very talented musicain and producer from Sestroretsk. We highly recommend taking a closer look at his beautiful works. 

And in the meantime we are excited to present you a new guest mix by X.Y.R. as a continuation of his romantic story. 
The first mix on “Kiss for Night Lovers” series was recorded in 2022 at our collaboration event with TESTFM radio and Shilo Magazine. Was amazing, video available on YouTube.

Luisali as a music selector, focuses on hidden musik overllooked, threw a grave mistake, by many. She aims to find these treasures. Music for her should be intriging, interesting and humorous. 

Luisali originally from dresden lived in Berlin for a while where she submerged in the music scene. Then she became part of the Spettro collective in Brescia, Italy and now lives between Brescia and Vienna. Allways organizing concerts everywhere she goes.

On Sunday, April 28th, we returned to Brilliant Corners for another evening of music discovery with Phuong Dan and AQWEA. 

Phuong Dan is a DJ's DJ. The Hamburg-based artist often pops up at a number of the world's best clubs, from Golden Pudel (where he holds a longstanding residency) to Salon Des Amateurs. It's his unique ear and style that make him a perfect fit for one of our lazy Sundays at Brilliant Corners.
