"This mix is a brief showcasing of music and sound art by friends, colleagues, influences, and artists with whom I have had the pleasure to work with over the years. The music I have made and released to date would not exist in its current form if it were not for some of the artists on this setlist. Whether it be friends/artists that I have directly worked with, interacted with, and collaborated with (J.S. Curley, Tony Panella, Spirituals, Robert Cole Rizzi, Pas Moi, DR, Mark Waldron-Hyden, Vitaly Maklakov, Andy Klingensmith); artists that have been generous in helping me bring my visions to life via the physical and visual mediums (Vitaly Maklakov, Thaniel Ion Lee, J.S. Curley); artists whose work I have had the pleasure and honor of releasing on my humble netlabel Warm Milk Recordings (Andy Klingensmith, Daniel J. Gregory, Tony Panella); or artists whose work has simply inspired me (Uneasy Chairs, Erinome, and every other artist already listed here), your work has helped shape the art that I make. This mix is dedicated to you.  

The mix encompasses a vast variety of experimental styles ranging from electroacoustic sound art, ambient music, field recordings, noise worship, and everything in between. The styles heard on this mix can not only be seen as a list of inspirations but also as a sort of mirror image to the sonic pallet that I present on my upcoming tape on the Enmossed label, "Lignum Muzek." Ever since deciding to start making albums under my given name, my vision has always been to create compositions that enter many different sonic territories, even within the duration of a single piece, and to weave these pallets together in a narrative-like fashion. I was able to take one step closer towards this vision with the creation of Lignum Muzek, especially on longform title track pieces which can almost be seen as miniature mixes of their own. This mix opened a door for me to impose my creative mixing style on artists whose music helped me to form my style to begin with, thus creating an endless loop of interconnected, communal, inspiration and sound that will forever be feeding back on itself, flourishing, and growing. "

This is their 2nd full album, with over 80 minutes of sonic mayhem from SOT mostly inspired by Genesis P. Orridge, 242, A.S.F., Esplendor Geometrico etc. in the Italian 80's wave tradition. Additionally there are over 24 minutes of remixes by the likes of Chris Mitchell, Chupacabras, Elena Sizova, Jaundice, and Memory Clap Acid.
