Rolling, proggy bangers from old school to new & fresh, from the young DJ & head behind @meltmelbourne. Depending on the set/mix/mood, Willis dives between a range styles & genres - dipping into electronica & downtempo in his Hope St Radio shows, and at other times he's even got a punk rock outlet via @sandydish.

Willis is a dedicated member of the community & it's been lovely to watch him grow and flourish.

Marco Segato is a sonic explorer, producer and live performer currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The concept of the “sublime” in the context of aesthetics and psychology is a fascinating
exploration of how certain experiences and stimuli can evoke intense emotions and
transcendence in individuals. The sublime is often associated with feelings of awe, wonder, and overwhelming greatness, surpassing ordinary experiences and pushing the boundaries of human comprehension.
It possesses a sense of power and might that can evoke both admiration and fear. This power
might be represented in nature’s forces, like a roaring waterfall, or in the skillful execution of art, like a captivating music composition.
It can lead to a sense of transcendence, where one feels connected to something beyond the
individual self, often involving spiritual or metaphysical dimensions.

On my travels this summer I picked up a book of weird celtic short stories, published by The British Library. This one is inspired by "The Fetch" written by Robert Aickman. The fetch is essentially your own personal sea-hag who will come for you (or those in your family circle) when your time is up. You know it's come for you when it looks you in the face; otherwise, it will pass you, it's head at whatever angle so as not to look at you, as it makes its way to the true victim. Aickman's stoic, Scottish style brings out the folk dimensions of the tale to truly horrific effect. Not surprisingly, I've gone for a funereal march!

Music inspired by the dystopian futures of Blade Runner, I Robot and all the wonderful Science Fiction of the Past and Future.
