Loma Doom - real name Femke Dekker - lives in Amsterdam where she's a vital member of the music scene, a seasoned digger and radio host as well as a curator and educator of contemporary art. Her dedication to radio is quite amazing, holding residencies on Radio Tempo Nao Para, Echobox Radio and Stranded FM as well as Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee, an online radio station dedicated to art.

For her Phase Group Mix she has gifted us with an expertly composed deep listening experience. One hour of shamanic trance moving through dark droning soundscapes, tribal percussion and ancient voices chanting echoing incantations, recorded live at the Radio Tempo Nao Para studios in Amsterdam. The final podcast of 2022 comes from the producer, selector and up-and-coming film scorer Poperttelli AKA Jonathan Cambefort. The Frenchman has been active in the scene for more than 7 years, co-running the cassette-focused label Maturre in Berlin as well as releasing full EPs on Brokntoys, Lost Dogs Entertainment, and dozen of singles and remixes on other platforms. With a keen ear for melody, Poperttelli’s versatile vision can seamlessly bring together anything from grubby electro or industrial EBM to hypnotic or even funky drifts. Poperttelli’ DT podcast 198 is full of well-executed changes of style and tone as well as evocative soundscapes, shaping up a great listening experience in the midst of the current winter gloominess. We've also spoken with the artist about his upbringing, post-pandemic thoughts and music ventures.

If you had to guess, when the time comes for your last slumber, where do you think you'll wake up? Up above, along with the sun, finally relieved from a life of abstinence? Or down there, right at the center of the earth, as you gave in to temptation? But life isn't so much black and white, is it? In-between this binary conclusion, It's more than likely that we all walk another path, the one for the tormented souls who couldn't make up for their failures and mistakes. A haunted desert where we would all form a never-ending procession, our heads crimsoned by the heaven's eye looking down on us, while our feet come out in blisters from the fire and brimstone. Flames everywhere, burning everything. Flesh, bones, dreams, hope, altogether forming ash coated dunes. Look better, you might catch sight of a mirage there, probably the persistent nostalgia.

ORGANIC ANALOGUE TRANSMISSION 29 - with Nate Forest [01.02.2023]

French electronic pionner, ADN’ Ckrystall, became a legend in the Minimal-Synth scene when his first album « Jazz’Mad » (from 1982) was rediscovered and re-edited via the two biggest labels in the genre : Minimal Wave (circa 2005) and Dark Entries (circa 2012). Following this new interest, a bunch of unreleased materials reappeared and went out mostly directly through Erick (ADN)’s control, under compilations, coffrets (V.O.D.) or albums that never had the chance to come out before… But one piece was still missing, the album just following « Jazz’Mad » called « Frankraut » and here comes the story… During the covid year of 2021, Erick finally found the tapes forgotten somewhere at his parents house since 1984. After relistening to it he decided to bring them back to life. « Frankraut was a project born from the reflexion about the concept of marrying (and not the opposite) the romantico-poetico side : naive melodies flirting with research and experimentations in the electronic music « à la française » like illustration, « bilbliothèque sonore » (library) or music for film… and the « cold », mechanic, motorik, hypnotic, psychedelic free explosive and creative side of the Krautrock. »
Summer 2022, during the Braille Satelite festival (Lithuania) Sacha (label boss) and Erick met and became friends. Few weeks later Erick was sending the demos of Frankraut on a burned CD (‘à l’ancienne’) by the post to Sacha. This is how ‘the 40 years old never released before project’ is finally coming out has a mini-LP on the 10inch format on Macadam Mambo !
