Mexican-Jamaican dj/producer Andy Martin blends sci-fi techno with Latin Caribbean sounds creating a futuristic edge. His latest album, Antiguos Astronautas, is a musical exploration that merges techno with Native American futurism and has received a positive response from the music community.

This summer he will be performing at renowned European festivals and clubs in Croatia, Spain, France and Germany. 

This set has a deep, dubby, and trippy vibe, with a lot of atmospheric pads mixed with hypnotic rhythms and elements that resemble organic percussion.

For this month's Unrush mix, we're excited to feature Eric Cloutier - a true digger with a deep history in the scene and an ear for detail. His 90-minute guest mix flows through warm, textured ambient with darker, rhythmic turns: subtle, patient, and always engaging.

Cloutier’s path has taken him from Detroit to New York, where his years as a regular at The Bunker New York helped shape his distinct style: deep, body-oriented music with a strong sense of narrative. Now based in Berlin and a resident at Tresor, he continues to bring that same focus and depth to clubs and listeners around the world.

With a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, he has spent years honing his craft. His label Palinoia - named after the act of repeating something until it’s mastered - reflects that mindset: a home for stripped-back, dubby techno and lesser-known talent that fits seamlessly into his sets.

A true digger with an ear for detail — this mix is one to sit with...

Contributing our latest episode is London’s ANNX, a regular figure within the city’s cutting-edge undercurrent whose many contributions include co-curation of the Whomp, Perspectives, and once-shrouded Magick events, and a residency at the beloved Above Below festival. Anna’s tireless dedication to the scene goes hand-in-hand with her unmistakable talent behind the decks, as evidenced by an impressive repertoire of mixes and set recordings, and which I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand last summer in the Chilterns. Here Anna demonstrates her well-honed craft over the course of two meticulously plotted hours, diving seamlessly into manifold forms of deep, heavy psychedelia before emerging in a wave of euphoric bliss. Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. While this aesthetic has long been part of our personal listening, we hadn’t had the chance to explore it in a session until now. It was such a nice feeling to play an opening set together in this special venue, surrounded by friends and supported by a sound system that did justice to every subtle detail.”

This month episode of Carhartt WIP Radio is brought to you by the Amsterdam-based musician, artist, and DJ @upsammy, whose sounds map a futuristic terrain of crystalline melodies, complex rhythms, and a blend of digital and organic textures.

In 2016, she uploaded her track “Zona” to SoundCloud, which caught the attention of the Nousklaer Audio label, and led to her debut EP "Another Place" in 2018. Since then, she’s released more music on Nous'klaer, as well as on Dekmantel, Pan, and Die Orakel; held residencies at NTS Radio and Amsterdam’s club Garage Noords; and completed a degree at Utrecht University of the Arts. In 2025, she debuted a new audiovisual live show for her album Strange Meridians, released in 2024 on topo2.
