Die Wollpullover sind samt 13 neuer Mottenlöcher zurück aus dem Keller, aber das Immunsystem vom letzten Jahr in Maskerade auch noch sehr löchrig - wir müssen es erst langsam wieder an Tröpfcheninfektion und fremde Menschen in Spuckweite gewöhnen. Ganz nach dem Prinzip der Reiztherapie kannst du dich jetzt entweder direkt an volle Tresen setzen und jeden Türgriff abschlecken, oder du sorgst vor: Mit zwei Stunden Knieguss, Schenkelguss und Wassertreten, der verlängerte Atem - dein Wasserdoktor bei Hallo Radio.

DJ Smidek provides a mix preferably played on a big fat soundsystem. A bass oriented selection with excursions to dancehall, dub and experimental beats.
The Berlin based Dj is a founding member of the music and art collective CEREALS. Together they curate music events and exhibitions in clubs and offspaces. In addition he co-hosts the monthly show "Waking up with Cereals" with his DJ partner Jakob from the Earth at the French online radio station "LYL Radio“.

CHLORYS, a musical & visual entity based in Bucharest, part of Queer Night family, Shape Platform artist in 2017, and since 2016 until present, a founding member of Corp. platform, its main focus on representing and promoting queer identities (trans, nonbinary etc.). She has streched her tentacles also locally, and also internationally, having played shows in Berlin, Stockholm, London, Paris, Lyon, Nantes. She has been a Noods Radio resident for three years, in charge of Alien Flora and a host on the local radio Black Rhino together with Corp, hosting a monthly show called Corpcast. Aside from being active on the local clubbing scene, she also tinkers with the visual and sound arts.

Comprising Marco Simioni, Mattero Mazreku, and Francesco Pio Nitti, Qualia are a group of Italian producers who have never met in person. Having previously released records on Detroit Underground and fellow Utrecht label 030303 between them they arrive on U-Trax in April with their eponymous EP of four deep tracks taking influence from a range of genres, including acid-techno, ambient, noise, and beyond.
Leading the release, ‘Perception’ brings beautiful strings, funky 808 drums and acid tones for a deep and moving opener. Stretched across the A2 is the ambient bliss of ‘VV Cephei A’, which brings Boards of Canada-esque drones and tones.
On the flip, the title track ‘Qualia’ brings a headsy does of braindance to the mix, recalling the early experiments of Aphex Twin with merciless 303 squelches and distant reverberations. Closing track ‘Until I Break Apart’ leads with dark, moody strings before a pounding kick introduces a stark tempo shift before deep ambient atmospheres engulf the final minutes.
