With ensemble, artists takes a look at the state of the world and bears witness to the changes in our contemporary society. As a collection, this ensemble of sound creations and personal narratives invites us to listen and to share. It designed to construct a common referential and a new collective set of imaginations.

Thank You Slipknot is Machine Woman's intense entry onto the Sacred Tapes roster. Comprising 5 tracks and coming in at under 30 minutes, this is an EP full of techno-influenced heavy hitters with the odd diversion into the experimental. A recent resident of Manchester and now living in Berlin, the unique sonic soundtrack of these two cities is clearly imprinted on her music and having been deeply involved in the artistic haven that is Islington Mill is bound to have had a lasting influence.

The final episode of An Ocean of Ink in a Single drop EP10 - 物の哀れ Mono no Aware. Mono no aware describes the feelings of sympathy a person feels upon becoming aware of the fleeting,impermanent nature of life. Mono no aware suggests that impermanence should not just be accepted, but appreciated, often typified by the beauty of the cherry blossom (Sakura); the flower blooms intensely, yet only for a short period of time each year. As the flowers die and the petals fall, cherry blossoms line the streets like a layer of soft, pink snow, and are most beautiful when captured between the precipice of life and death.

We truly appreciate things when we accept they do not last forever.

Join me for live performances with guitar, flute , clarinet and electronics, conceptually selected music and 6 specially selected Matsuo Bashō Haikus, recorded in Japanese and English by Fumika Geary & darker.

This episode of earworm is brought to you by UK-based DJ and Promoter George Askaroff AKA Natisha

The Exeter, England based DJ is co-runner of mix series and event collective @thegoodieroom that hosts sick parties and has an abundance of mixes from unknown but notable DJs. He is also involved with South West UK party organisers such as Hold It Down & Hijacked Festival where he is a resident. Known for his eclectic style when playing and appreciation of all music, you can expect the unexpected from his sets, but also be assured it'll be good.

In this mix he explores some atmospheric and laidback rhythms he's been digging recently. Starting with some softer ambient sounds before building to some more rhythmic textured beats, finishing off with some bassy dub tracks. A real nice vibing journey on the more laid back / heads down side of the spectrum.
