Founder of the platform Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space, Offenbach-based Celestino defines himself as "just a dinosaur playing music for love since 1992". A veteran DJ and newcomer producer who likes to explore as many music genres as possible in his sets and productions. The Brazilian artist makes his debut on When Disco Goes Wrong with a solid original track that pays a homage to the early rave scene. To top things off, the track comes with noteworthy remixes from Mindbender and Högt I Tak that changes the tracks facade.
Our choice was Mindbender who is known for his ability to craft a remix and reinterprets the original with his inimitable sounds while preserving the track’s tenets. This time around he does just that. With a similar layout as the original, Mindbender. lays out a different buildup where at first it gives the idea of a darker more bleepy approach of the original version.

PREMIERE #1104 | Celestino - No Plan B (Mindbender Remix) [When Disco Goes Wrong] 2020

Ex-member of the Madrid-based band Fira Fem (Aloud, Subterfuge), with whom he played at some Spanish festivals like Sónar, Primavera Sound, FIB, SOS or BBK, Manu Cachero hides under the moniker JackWasFaster to explore his devotion for electronic music.

In his DJ sets, live acts and productions, the artist focuses on exploring the most synthetic face of Disco, as well as Post-Electronic, Dark Balearic Wave, Post-Punk heritage, or the rawest and the most underground Acid music.

Participant to the 2015 Madrid edition of the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp, he has issued releases and remixes for labels such as Rotten City, Nein, Factor City, Aylevs, Playground, Quantistic, Emerald & Doreen or Esthétique, both by himself or alongside Álvaro Cabana or Talktome (as Jacktome).

His tracks have been played and supported by Andrew Weatherall, Eskimo Twins, Timothy Clerkin, Mugwump, Sean Johnston, Javi Redondo, Curses, Massimiliano Pagliara, Bird of Paradise, Amevicious, Leonor, Álvaro Cabana, Club Bizarre, Gameboyz, or JP Soul.

The positive reception of his releases and a solid hardware-based live set got him to play at festivals such as Sónar, FIB, Brunch In The Park, Paraíso, Electrosplash or UVA, in addition to clubs such as Mondo (Madrid) and Razzmatazz (Barcelona).

During COVID times, he keeps on producing tracks for Inflect (UK) as well as Rotten City and working on a new project, named Indies With Microkorgs, showing his more industrial and experimental side.

Stevie R & Parisinos have formed a formidable sonic partnership, with impressive releases planned for this year (Playground Records, ME ME ME, Chapter 24 Records, and imprint Inside Out Records). With a focus on combining greek folk music rebetiko with slower rhythms, acid lines and powerful percussion sounds, their distinct sound captivates and hypnotises dancefloors. Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos also co-own and run Inside Out Records. This mix in centred on mostly unreleased tracks that will feature on the labels’ future releases.
