For the third round of Tanz um den Kopf I invited four friends and amazing women who work in Berlin’s music venues from different angles. 
So often immersed in the repeating sounds of the scene, it felt like the perfect moment to flip things around and let them be the ones making others listen. 
Playing with this and pushing the boundaries of who plays music for whom feels essential for keeping creativity alive and preserving the purity in how we exchange music.

Laughing in the Wilderness draws inspiration from NewDad, Fontaines D.C., and the raw confessional energy of other indie icons. The song in its simplest form is a love song - about the eurphoria of losing yourself in your partners eyes and the intensity of that connection. “Laughing in the Wilderness” stands as his boldest statement yet: a sound that’s genre-defying and distinctly Samuel Virgo.
