DADRAS makes his UNO NYC debut with Nature Boy, the latest GIVEITAWAY EP. The drum heavy Queens-based producer counts production credits for A$AP Rocky (At. Long. Last, Beaty N The Beast), Ratking members and collaboration with hardcore rockers Show Me The Body. You’ll regularly catch him towering behind dark DJ booths in Chinatown loft parties or Brooklyn basements.
DADRAS' conflicting New York tones jump out of dingy speakers with crushed edges, pounding ears and hearts to elevated levels of perception like a Myrtle Ave psychic’s broken mantras. Title track "Nature Boy” is a vortex beat that tosses you around with menacingly playful abandon. "Kookaburra" and "Where Birds Fly” match hallucinogenics & outdoors enthusiasts while"Twice” shows off DADRAS' vocal range, and was previously featured on SMTB’s Corpus label.
UNO’s EP follows the remarkable RUBAIYAT I & RUBAIYAT II on the Human Pitch label - landing him among the perches of Gobby, Cryptolect, Dutch E Germ and the latest roster artists.

I had a lot of train journeys recently and I love watching the wires seemingly dance around outside the window. I wondered if we could be getting fooled by a similar process during our usual experience of movement and time, and thought it would be an interesting project for a music video set to the music created during the same journeys.

For the music I wanted to bring ideas of frozen moments of the past into play, and no better excuse to get stuck in with the Prophet 6 on some lush classic analogue synth sounds for the main chord sequence, and plenty of nob noodling for a dance of modulating sounds around the main sequence. I wanted to keep it fairly sparse to let the chord patch be central, and just focus on trying to make every element, including the percussion, warp a little, so you can either listen to the track from a distance and hear the harmonic ideas, or delve in to find all sorts more hiding in there.

LSD is the techno supergroup of Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell, David Sumner. They launch their new self-titled LSD imprint with a six track double pack of pure techno. Having released their first EP on Ostgut Ton back in 2017 followed by a series of live performances at festivals and venues across Europe including Berghain, Dekmantel Festival, Awakenings, Reaktor and Astropolis they return with their second drop of studio material. 

Focussing on psychedelic aspects of techno while drawing on the unique rhythmic sensibilities of each of the three members, between them this group have all had a major impact on the global techno scene over the last two decades. Their new collaborative double pack carries on where the debut left off with six tracks of melodic and mind melting techno with surreal atmospheres and propulsive drum programming that takes you into the next dimension.
