#8385 (Collected Works 1983 - 1985) collates four of Cabaret Voltaire’s classic mid-period releases – remastered - on CD and vinyl - The Crackdown (1983), Micro-Phonies (1984), Drinking Gasoline (1985) and The Covenant, The Sword and the Arm of the Lord (1985) alongside a CD of Cabaret Voltaire’s 12” A's & B's from the period and a CD of 12 unreleased tracks entitled Earthshaker (The Lost Soundtrack).

DVD1, Cabaret Voltaire Live, collates two live shows, the Bedford Boys Club (18.08.84) and Hammersmith Palais (02.12.84) and DVD2 is the long awaited DVD release of Gasoline In Your Eye (1985), plus the four promotional videos from the time.

#8385 (Collected Works 1983 - 1985) also includes 40-page 12" booklet, notes about Earthshaker, an essay by Phil Barnes and new sleeve notes by Richard H. Kirk.

Balanescu Quartet is an avant-garde string quartet founded in 1987 by Alexander Balanescu that achieved fame through the release of several complex re-interpretations of songs by Kraftwerk and collaborations with Michael Nyman, David Byrne and Goldfrapp amongs others.

The album features several special guests: Little Annie, St. Vincent, Cold Specks and Bill Rieflin, the album was produced by Michael Gira, and recorded by John Congleton at Sonic Ranch, Texas. Further recordings and mixing were accomplished in Dallas, Texas. 

Swans are Michael Gira, Norman Westberg, Christoph Hahn, Phil Puleo, Thor Harris and Christopher Pravdica.

'To Be Kind' will be released on triple vinyl, double CD, download and 3 disc deluxe Edition (including a live DVD).

Looper release a new 5CD box set, titled 'These Things', Spring 2015.
Covering Looper's entire career from 1997 up to present day, with tracks from the debut 'Up A Tree' through to the new album 'Offgrid:Offline'.

Looper emerged from Belle & Sebastian in 1997, when Stuart David (co-founder and bass player of B&S) and his wife Karn (an artist who directed the early B&S videos) collaborated for a show at Glasgow School of Art. A degree show fundraiser for Stuart's sister Karla Black - who received a Turner Prize nomination in 2011- the performance was a multi-media affair incorporating TVs, super 8 film, 35mm slides and kinetic sculptures. Since nothing broke down and everyone clapped, they decided to keep doing it.

Looper have recorded four albums to date, 'Up A Tree'. 'The Geometrid', 'The Snare' and 'Offgrid:Offline' as well as numerous singles and EPs.

Apparat, aka Sascha Ring, will release “Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)”, an album of music based on Sebastian Hartmann’s theatre production of Tolstoy’s War and Peace.

Sebastian Hartmann is considered one of the big innovators of contemporary German theatre, and asked Ring to contribute to this mammoth project, which was commissioned by the renowned German arts festival Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen.
