Quentin Sirjacq (en concert à l'Abbaye aux Dames le 25 février 20h30) :

Ce jeune et brillant pianiste se forme à l’école classique dès son plus jeune âge. Il a déjà un goût marqué pour Ravel et Satie. Puis il se « convertit » au jazz à l’adolescence. Ce double héritage l’amène du Piano à la composition.

Ses compositions combine ces deux influences. Elles développent une ligne mélodique forte et évocatrice associée à un traitement du son. Mais aussi des arrangements qui empruntent aux musiques actuelles (électronique, pop …)

« Il amplifie et transforme la sonorité la plus pure de son instrument qu’il dénude ou pare de touches évanescentes. Voilà bien la finesse tempérée et automnale de cette Chambre claire automnale. » (Classica)
