Mitch von Arx's Pyramids is a cathartic project using found sound, resampled guitar textures and detuned synths to explore polyrhythms and counterpoint in ambient settings. The entire album was composed between London and a tiny village in the Swiss Alps over the past two years.

Gold and Soil - "Of Our Earth"

Lively, upbeat drums hit immediately in this jazz heavy rework of Simmonds' forthcoming single 'King' from Ebi Soda. Dreamy brass stretches luxuriously around the tune, matched by a stunning piano melody, leaving the drums and vocals battling it out with power and intensity.

Ian Simmonds is back with the first track from his stunning upcoming EP ‘King’ which features 6 tracks including an extended version of ‘King’ alongside 3 reworks from DJ Rocca, Number and Ebi Soda, and the final track ‘Women’. This collaboration between Simmonds and the Ekonda Women came about in the late 1990s when releasing music as Juryman for crammed discs, Ian met Vincent Kenis who had just returned from the Kongo with hours of field recordings including several hours of the Ekonda women, recorded in the Bikoro district of Kinshasa. Finished off lovingly with the stunning cover painting by welsh artist Tony Griffin.
