Following the release of Jonas Kopp's capturing debut album and the recent Transllusion and Drexciya re-issues, the Berlin powerhouse starts the year with a bang.

Tresor Records is proud to introduce the debut collaboration between all-time reference DJ Deep, and emerging artist Roman Poncet, with two powerful 12"s released back-to-back, exploring both modern and classic interpretations of techno.

DJ Deep, uncovered by Laurent Garnier in the early ‘90s, has always rested on the cusp of modernity, whether in the realm of house or techno, relentlessly delivering visionary selections throughout. As label owner of Deeply Rooted, DJ Deep seeks out likeminded artists, including Poncet, to propel his vision of contemporary sounds.

Roman Poncet, surfaced in 2013 with a growing catalog on labels as Deeply Rooted, Taapion or Figure. The blend of the two producers is simply incendiary and their profound compatibility takes all its sense on these two EPs.

Overview
Jeff Mills’ “The Bells” is one of the most iconic tracks in techno history, often called the genre’s anthem. Known for its hypnotic bell melody, driving kick, and euphoric build, it became a staple in DJ sets worldwide. The track was first played live by Mills in 1995 (e.g., at Liquid Room in Tokyo), but it wasn’t officially released until 1997 as part of the Kat Moda EP on his Purpose Maker label. Swiss producer Deetron returns to Music Man Records with Heartwalking EP due out on the 23rd of November. 

Fresh from releasing his DJ-Kicks mix in March of this year and the Storytellers 2x12“ with DJ Bone, Heartwalking is a two track EP playing with fast moving and melodic techno. The title track is a high energy cut which tumbles over precise drums patterns and thumping bass. Heartwalking AM version adds a euphoric melody, guaranteed to keep people on the dance floor until the early hours.
