Lofi heavyweights Mr.Käfer & Phlocalyst are restructuring the metaphysics of a jazz thing (to quote Gang Starr). “Space Travels”  is the third single from their  album  “Now / Again“ on MPM. The smooth beat is wrapped in warm melodic layers, led by  Phlocalyst's distinctive horn. The Flemish producer  lives Munich where he plays in a classic orchestra. Mr.Käfer was born in Salzburg, Austria with family ties in Algeria. He lives in Cologne where he fuses boom-bap & jazz with North-African music.

You may know him as one half of the duo Wieland & Ulrich, the German producer from Cologne wielandwieland has been making music since 2006. His beat-making is thoughtful and combines different influences as shown in the track ‘For A Minute’, a mix of soothing chords with an r&b vibe. The track highlights a soul vocal sample. Its low pitch and the enveloping reverb make for a track-inducing relaxation.
