We are very happy to be able to close off the year with a bang with one final release: 'Southpoint Presents, Vol. 2', is the second edition of our most popular project this year. 

All 19 tracks that we have featured on the compilation are now available for free download via our SoundCloud page.

We want to give a special thanks to everyone who supported our releases this year - it's been a crazy few months of growth and we intend to continue to bring you fresh and innovative sounds in 2016 and beyond.

A debutant on the 1Forty imprint that we felt just had to be showcased. One of his more grimey productions from the 22 year old producer is ‘Hydrocity’.

With releases previously on Wile Out, Project Allout Records & Electrikal Records the young Glaswegian has amassed support from fellow Scots - Polonis & Rapture 4D as well as Spooky and refix master Gundam. With opportunities few and far between north of the border until more recently for grime music in Scotland, Casement has paved his way into the scene through playing at the likes of Stereo, Broadcast, King Tuts, Kelburn Festival & Woodlands Festival whilst honing his sound in the studio for the past 5 years. With Polonis & Rapture putting the scene firmly on the map since the Red Bull Beetroots Project it’s great to see more producers coming through from the north with such a unique take on Grime music.

Casements interests go much further than just grime when it comes to underground genres as he is recognised also for his UK Funky creations which have been supported by Murder He Wrote amongst other DJ’s on Radar Radio. 2018 is looking to be the breakout year for the versatile producer with other plans in the pipeline already in place with another Label all to be revealed later this year.

The time has finally come to launch the second series of 'Introducing', attempting to elevate the brand and focus on more collaborations, remixes, new artists, and new genres. The first series concluded after 100 releases (one per week) so we want to thank everyone who supported the channel since it's inception. 

For the second series launch, Luciferian and Billy Barhard join forces with Filthy Gears on ‘Brexit’, a track that is set to cause a pandemonium in the dance as the duo run riot with intricate vocal patterns and catchy one liners over the monstrous ‘Jacker’ instrumental.
