As a self-taught bassist, Jonathan, AKA "Muxus", grew up hypnotized by the groove of Post-Punk giants such as Joy Division and Bauhaus.

This Fullerton, CA native was no stranger to the local Punk & Metal scene's, which he claims greatly shaped his musical influences. Jonathan, exposed to early Indie-Electronic music in the 2000’s, says shortly thereafter he developed an affinity for House and Techno music. 

While he most usually gravitates towards the dark, eerie and hypnotic sounds of Dark-Minimal Techno and Psychedelic Techno (PsyTechno), he has also become an advocate of the aggressive and harsher soundscapes of Hard Techno. 

He has weaved together a wide array of Hard, Dark and Psychedelic sounds, encompassing his passion for the genre. Enjoy this 1-Hour DJ Mix from Destroy Planet Earth's own architect, Muxus.
