For Meyer, it feels like a very natural step - he already has a legion of followers sending waves of adulation his way, after his home videos demonstrating his modular setup went viral. Meyer was born without a left forearm, and has hacked a prosthetic to control certain parameters of his modular with his mind. His setup and approach are truly unique, and he is an artist at the very frontier of the innovative intersection of music and technology.

The pairing of artist and label feels very natural, too. DESSERT itself sprung from Black Peters’ long standing residency at Berlin institution ://about:blank, with DESSERT events focusing on providing an organic space for interaction and a platform for deserving artists, often from underrepresented groups.

Walks The Night is an introduction to the sound Meyer has long been cultivating. The title track is emotive melodic techno, pairing his famed modular’s output with heartfelt vocals, crafting a track primed for those tender late night dancefloor moments.
This is followed by Say It To Me, a more dynamic deep house/techno number which is built on undulating arpeggios and uptempo drum patterns. It’s shaded with a strong sense of wistful melancholia, building to a stunning diva vocal moment in the break.

Renowned producer and mix engineer @hannesbieger rounds out the collection with his take on Walks The Night, morphing it into a more subdued and techy roller. He adds a layer of percussive technicality but retains its emotive character, springing its own colourful moments as it glides forward.

With a second EP already approaching completion, expect to hear plenty more from Bertolt Meyer and his modular.

Sincopat proudly welcomes back home blaktone with a new powerful and enormous EP, the icing on the cake is provided by Renato Cohen with a majestic remix. Swag  is  an  intense  musical  journey  with  pulsating  basses  and  distorted  vocals,  masterpiece that shows the duo's potential for crafting dancefloor killers. Renato Cohen's remix is no slouch, Brazilian maestro perfectly captures the essence of the original but bringing it into his own sonic universe. To continue this adventure we have Entropy, an intense track with blaktone's trademark where all the synthesizers seem to come alive. Let Me In another great song from beginning to end, its etheric lead bass will make you travel to the deepest space. The  piece  that  completes  the  puzzle  is My Life My Rules, a declaration of principles in which the duo transports us to a roller coaster of contrasting sensations that perfectly complete the story.

Since fusing their creative worlds in 2014, Martin Vice and Michael Banel emerged on the international scene as an exciting and powerful duo, quickly enthralling audiences around the globe. 

Their self-titled collaboration, MVMB, focuses on delivering a slick and intelligent sound taking listeners on a journey with not only their sets but their accumulating releases. The first full-length album in 2016, The sleeper Must Awaken (Iboga Records), effortlessly explores the boundaries between techno and progressive psy-trance to deliver a deep, driving and hypnotic soundscape. Intentionally crafted to take listeners on an interstellar journey connecting them to the almost mythical trance dance sensation, the album was received with acclaim.

Taking the bpm down a notch while turning up the heat, their 2019 second album Phase 01 (IbogaTech) traverses the atmospherics of a melodic techno sound that retains a hint of trance. Their next, eagerly awaited step in the journey will see them arrive in Peak Techno town in 2022, ready to demolish dance floors with melodic mayhem.

Delivering powerful performances responsive to the energetic needs of the dance floor, MVMB is a versatile act available for bookings to present melodic techno, peak time techno or progressive trance sets.
The debut album "The Sleeper Must Awaken" were released on Iboga Records, adding to the labels very impressive stable of artists and quality releases.

In 2016-17 the duo have started producing a techno album and developed a new DJ concept mixing own tracks with their favourite inspirations from the techno scene.
