I wrote this piece of music for my Wedding day and a wonderful string quartet played it as my Wife to be walked down the aisle. It's My happy music. Now, 13yrs later I've finally recorded it using the wonderful BBC Symphony Orchestra and a few other plugins.

Keepsake is a concert work for full orchestra, dedicated to Grandma Westfall. While its foundation remains symphonic, the piece delicately weaves in stylistic influences from the big band era of the 1940s, offering a subtle nod to that timeless musical period.

Throughout the movement, particular emphasis is placed on distinct instrumental voices—the Alto Flute, Soprano Sax, Bass Clarinet, and brushed Snare Drum—each contributing to the work’s warm, reflective character. These carefully chosen timbres evoke memories of an era while preserving the symphony’s sweeping orchestral identity, making Keepsake a heartfelt musical tribute.
