Wisebuddah has unveiled a big new sound for FFN in Germany, with a brand-new 20-cut jingle package now live on air. Designed to bring an AC package into the modern age, the new sound is packed with warmth, energy, and innovation, pushing creative and sonic boundaries while staying true to FFN’s identity

The new sound is powered by Wisebuddah FX 4, ensuring the package punches through the playlist while maintaining a contemporary, high-energy feel.

Finland’s newest nationwide radio station, POPfm, has launched with a fresh audio identity from PURE Jingles. Designed for a Hot AC format, the custom-made package features dynamic jingles that support smooth, seamless transitions across a wide range of music.

POPfm plays feelgood hits from the '90s to today and focuses on positive, entertaining content. Seeking a sonic identity that reflects this tone, co-owner and CEO Mattias Gustavsson, together with international radio consultant Niklas Norden, turned to PURE Jingles.

“Our goal is to make POPfm one of Finland’s leading national stations, so we had high expectations for our brand sound,” says Niklas Norden. “Flow is key for us. The jingles not only had to match our carefully curated playlist but also blend smoothly from one track to the next. We needed a smart solution.”

PURE Jingles branding consultant Thomas Giger explains: “Together with the team, we created a modular jingle package with elements in every musical key, enabling harmonic transitions. We invested several additional weeks into developing this system - something any program or music director who values important detail will appreciate. It enhances the listening experience and can increase time spent listening.”

Mattias Gustavsson adds: “PURE Jingles custom-designed this package to be compatible with our AI-driven scheduling tool. The results are remarkable. The jingles precisely match our music flow, delivering something truly innovative in radio branding. This project is a perfect fusion of world-class audio design and cutting-edge technology. RFM - Beds Spring 2025 - MX SOUND

Jeff Thomas has imaged radio stations all over the world in a career that has spanned 45 years. He spent 8 years with KIIS FM Los Angeles as Creative Services Imaging Director where he imaged the station and developed the national ‘KISS’ sound for Clear Channel, followed by 3 years launching the Howard Stern satellite channels on Sirius Satellite Radio, Howard 100 and 101. Previous positions include 2MMM-FM Sydney Australia (8 yrs), Virgin Radio London UK (3 yrs) & Capital Radio London (2 yrs).

In that time he has mixed well over 300 live-to-air performances from artists including Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Bon Jovi, Sting, Jack Bruce, Noel Gallagher, Elvis Costello and Sheryl Crow.

Twenty-five years ago Jeff launched KILLER HERTZ; a sound design & imaging library used by radio and TV stations throughout the US and all over the world and featured in numerous international movie trailers, including Paranormal Activity, Die Hard 5, 2012 & Apple TV’s Central Park.

In 2010 Jeff created PHANTOM PRODUCER; an online imaging service and web app. The service was granted a US patent in 2016 and has grown to now offer 13 different radio formats, heard on well over a thousand radio stations across the US. Jeff Thomas Productions Pty Ltd was purchased by Gemini 13.LLC in 2021.
