File Under Disco is a specialist imprint set up in 2012 by Dicky Trisco to release original Disco inspired music. Next up on File Under Disco, we welcome you to the modern Brazilian disco world of Processman & Cady who together bring a pair of South American beauties in the form of Adupé & Sou Baiana. With remixes provided by JKriv, Jutro Mundo, and Dicky Trisco.

DJ and producer Processman hails from Salvador, Bahia. A passionate and talented musician, who has played in various bands in his home city, a city famed the birth of legendary artists and as such, his heroes, Gilberto Gil, 
João Gilberto and Jorge Amado. Processman was introduced to Cady, a fellow Baiana and fine solo artist in her own right, by a mutual friend. The connection was instant, and they started making music that very day. 

Fast forward to when Dicky Trisco was passing through Salvador after playing the Mareh festival in Bahia. Processman drove Dicky and a group of friends to local hot spot in Pelourinho, and the first track he played in the car that night was ‘Adupé’. Dicky was blown-away by the track, it’s brilliant Brazilian percussion, the beautiful, layered vocal, the spiritual, boogie-laden vibes and delightful melodies, he was hooked! The second track Processman played was ‘Sou Baiana’. A record deal was already a sure thing, and they hadn’t even made it to the bar!

A year later and the release is ready to let loose its magical, spiritual, boogie vibe. NYC Brazilian aficionado Jkriv - the perfect choice for remixer for this sound - has delivered a truly essential, cosmic disco dub of ‘Adupé’. 
Dicky Trisco takes on ‘Sou Baiana’ , stripping it down and pumping it up into a rocking dance floor bomb. Finally, Rio’s Joutro Mundo pushes the original of ‘Adupé’ into a deeper, downtempo lush rework that’ll make those Carioca beach bars and kiosks groove at sunset. Further digital versions include Dicky no-nonsense, dance floor focused ‘Ruff Dub’ of ‘Adupé’ and Processman’s ‘Disco Mix’ which draws on more French Disco influences. File this all under Modern Brazilian Disco and let’s vamos!

MXTP - MIXTAPE
MXTP is an Irish based group in Dublin, Tallaght made up of two people Josh Walker and Sam McCabe. They started producing music in 2017. The beginning of 2018 they started to take a serious approach to learn and produce music, most days they would spend hours working on tracks and consistently trying to get better. In 2019 they started to get some recognition through some releases they had during the year mainly Old Dorty Rave. In the same year they started to get gigs in the City Centre of Dublin. 2020 wasnt the busiest of years due to the covid pandemic which stopped gigs for everyone across the globe. The group only released 3 tracks in 2020. This year they have started off with a release in January Bang The Beat hoping to have at least a track every month, with some months possibly releasing two, with lockdowns and no clubs being open their will be a lot of time for producing in which they are going to keep working hard to keep tracks coming along.
