The well recieved "Carparks and Cigarettes" acoustic/hip-hop track will go on to see Mikka teaming with hometown spitter "Treble1" for what seems to be the beginning of a full length album. Broadening the horizon with concrete plans to collaborate with Dubstep, House & RnB artists, stir in a Metal producer, shake another Hip-Hop cardinal in the mix (all yet to be announced) and winter 2012 is looking like quite a treat isn't?

Awakening from the back of tour vans, strangers floors and ash littered rehearsal rooms for most of his teenage years, ‘Mikka’ has bitten off his fair share of the east coast touring lifestyle. Leaving the turbulent on road shambles he finally lands back into his humble hometown of Newcastle.

The transcending singer/songwriter has set to stage alight with an acoustic account of his shifty backstage stories, the vicissitudes of romances, homesickness and displacement, and the intervention of family and friends along with everything in between.

The wayward gentlemens' solo performances to date, have been described as mix of strong and subtle melodies grounded by punchy rhythms. The overall sound is a paradox to the heavy, distant, aggressive playing technique enforced in his past projects.
