MY.COSMO was established in 2010 by Cosmo Simnovec in the Ruhr district, Germany. It is a solo project with the idea of collaborating with other artists from all over the world. The music varies in different kinds of electronica.

At the age of 6, Cosmo started taking classes in classical piano. In the early 1980's he would discover electronic music and take an interest in playing the synthesizer. At the time he was listening to artists such as Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Visage. Later he studied classical music / classical piano in Dortmund, Germany. His favourite composers soon were, amongst others, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven and Claude Debussy. He completed his studies and began working as a music teacher.

Cosmo has been involved in the music scene since the late 1980’s and has worked with many artists over the years also being a member of the German band Moon where he recorded 2 studio albums between 1992 and 1994. He also worked as a composer and sound designer for a multimedia company in Cologne, Germany between 1995 and 2001.

MY.COSMO's music is released primarily on his bandcamp site.
Cosmo loves to work on remixes. His remix for Metroland from Belgium will be released on their second album in 2015.
