MY DOMINION – CONSUMED

The first release of the german death-metal newcomers MY DOMINION could not be more versatile. Melodic Death-Metal hymns follow old-school Death-Metal neckbreakers. On their debut, MY DOMINION shows razorblade riffs und catchy melodies. Most of the songs are actually midtempo-songs, but suddenly they explode and batter your skull just to switch in the next seconds to a diabolical sing-a-long refrain. Whoever doubts that, should listen to neckbreakers and bone-crushers like “All Fall Down”, “Hide” or “They Came To Conquer”. There´ll be no questions left. And if they were, MY DOMINION will give the answer in the next moshpit. Singer Martin shows highest versatility to bring the Sci-Fi concept of humanities last stand fighting an overwhelming alien-invasion to life. The highly anticipated debut record of the 2006 in Essen, Germany founded band will be released in Summer 2014 via Nihilistic Empire Records.

Fronter Martin states: “We are more brutal than In Flames, more melodic than The Black Dahlia Murder and catchier than Strapping Young Lad. Other big influences were Machine Head, Pantera (Attitude!!!), newer Satyricon, Bolt Thrower and Amorphis.” German Metal magazine Rock Hard compared MY DOMINION to Amon Amarth whereas Metal Hammer Germany hears influences of early Six Feet Under. Guitarist Basti and Stefan state: “As a band from Essen, Germany there is no way, that you are not influenced by the mighty Kreator, who also come from germanys Metal-Stronghold Essen. Besides these Thrash influences, also Kick-Ass Rock is a big inspiration for MY DOMINION”. Both on CD and live the four Metal Enthusiasts dominate.

Over the years since their founding MY DOMINION earned lots of live credits as a very brutal and  dark humored kick-ass Stage-Rulers. MY DOMINION shared festival- and club-stages with bands such as Misery Index, Entombed, Sodom, Napalm Death, Hate Eternal, Agnostic Front, Grand Magus, Powerwolf and Suicidal Angels.
